Welcome to Tangier, Morocco! We started off our trip visiting the square of the ninth of April, one of the biggest squares in the city. We explored the old medina before stopping to shop for a jalaba and the traditional Moroccan sandals.
Next up we headed to Tangier beach to ride a camel. It cost about 5 euro per person for a 30 minute ride along the beach. If you don't make it down to the Sahara you should definitely try to ride a camel in Tangier.
There is two restaurants I recommend when in Tangier, Riad Tanja and the El Morocco Club. Riad Tanja, has live music every night and serves some delicious moroccan tangines. El Morocco Club serves more of a gourmet fusion Moroccan cuisine mixed with a few other cuisines.
This is Dar Nour Guest House, one of the few properties located in the Kasbah. It's a boutique bed and breakfast, they have 10 rooms and they have 3 terraces on the roof top with a 360 degree view of Tangier.

Wrapping up our travels in Spain, our last city to visit was Granada. Set in Andalusia at the foot of the snow capped Sierra Nevada, this is a place where Moorish influence is palpable. From hilltop fortresses to Moroccan markets, and tranquil gardens to quaint teahouses, in this travel guide we’re going to show you some of the things you can do in Granada:
This Cathedral was as grand as you’d expect. The stark white interiors were a bit of a contrast to the ornate churches we had seen in other cities, but that just made your eyes travel towards a glowing, golden altar.
The Moroccan souk turned out to be one of our favourite spots in the city. The street was packed with tiny shops standing shoulder to shoulder, all filled with leather handbags, glass lamps, wool slippers, colourful scarves and pashminas and souvenirs.
We continued our way up the hill into Albayzín. This is one of the oldest centres of Muslim culture in Granada. The neighbourhood is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, white-houses with tiled roofs, and small courtyards sprinkled in between.
We made time to stop at one of the teterías, or teahouses. This was the perfect place to rest on a cold winter day and enjoy some afternoon treats.
You can find numerous Moroccan restaurants in this part of the city for food. One place we ate at on more than once occasion was Al-Faguara. They offered set menus for lunch featuring hummus, falafel, couscous, tajine, and of course, lots of baklava.
Let’s take a moment to talk about Granada’s main tourist attraction: the Alhambra!
The Alhambra is a massive complex of palaces, gardens and fortresses that once formed the citadel of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada, which was the last Muslim dynasty to rule along the Iberian Peninsula from the years 1230 to 1492.
This is the one attraction you can’t miss when you visit Granada, and you’ll want to book your tickets well in advance as they can sell out during high season.
We spent half a day touring the grounds during which time we visited the Nasrid Palaces, the Palace of Charles the Fifth, the Alcazaba, and the Generalife.
We decided to find a cafe where we could indulge in a delicious Spanish breakfast.
Another spot we explored in Granada is Carrerra del Darro, a small lane that runs along the Darro River at the base of the Alhambra. This street is lined with arched-stone bridges and historic buildings.
We’ll leave you with a few scenes of Granada at night and one last glimpse of the Alhambra lit up against the evening sky.

China has so many amazing street foods to try, and I've been filming and documenting them for you for the past 4 years. In my opinion, the best noodle dish in China is dan dan noodles, right here in Chengdu, Sichuan. China has some of the best street food around the world, and these dan dan noodles were INSANELY GOOD, some of the best noodles in China for sure!
If you're traveling to China to eat and try different street foods, and perhaps want to learn a little bit about Chinese food and chinese cooking in the process, you need to try a few different variations of Dan Dan noodles. When they prepare the traditional Chinese dan dan noodle recipe right on the street, you can watch as they scoop the main ingredients like chili oil, soy sauce, sichuan peppercorn, and garlic right into the noodle bowl and then place the steaming hot noodles right over top. It's truly satisfying! After they put the noodles over top, they place their signature fried ground pork on top, known in Chinese as shaozi.
When your dan dan noodles arrive to your table, it is very important to mix up all the chili oil and all of the ingredients throughout. This ensures that the flavour and the hot oil gets coated onto each noodle before you take a bite. It's also quite satisfying mixing the noodles and watching the dark red oil slowly turn each noodle from white into red and silky smooth.
When you take your first bite, you'll understand why this is one of the BEST Chinese street foods you need to try. The spicy noodles are coated with an incredibly aromatic chili oil and really send you straight up to heaven! It's one of the best forms of Chinese cooking!

Cruise to Agadir & Taroudant (MOROCCO) - Clark Trips - 2019
¡Esta es la cuarta parada de nuestro crucero por las Islas Canarias, Madeira y Marruecos con el Zenith de Pullmantur!
En Marruecos desembarcamos en Agadir y realizamos la excursión de Pullmantur que también te permite visitar Taroudant.
A primera hora subimos hasta la alcazaba (kasbah) de Agadir donde había unas vistas increíbles de la costa mientras salía el sol por el horizonte, pero al bajar del autobús nos encontramos con la realidad del país. Había unos cuantos hombres con sus camellos para que nos hiciéramos fotos con ellos y a cambio les pagáramos, el problema es que no te dejan opción a hacer lo contrario. Aun no había bajado del autobús que ya me estaban cogiendo del brazo y haciéndome tocar al camello, por lo que te exigen que les pagues. Te acosan continuamente con acciones como esta para que les des algo de dinero.
Después fuimos hasta el zoco de Agadir pero era tan temprano que la mayoría de tiendas estaban cerradas. Pudimos ver como transportan a los animales antes de venderlos en los zocos, corriendo en jaulas y con unas condiciones bastante terribles (por no hablar de la higiene).
Seguidamente nos dirigimos hacia Taroudant donde pudimos ver el centro de la ciudad y los zocos. Allí la presión de los habitantes por hacerte pagar por cualquier cosa fue aun más fuerte. Además, cometimos el error de no llevar casi nada de efectivo... así que teníamos que guardarlo bien por si alguna otra situación lo requería (como por ejemplo entrar en unos baños). La suciedad que había era increíble y lo más impactante fue ver las canales enteras de vaca colgando de los toldos de las tiendas en calles llenas de polvo (y al lado había cajas de sardinas).
A mediodía comimos en un restaurante típico del país y un entorno muy bonito.
De vuelta hacia Agadir, nos encontramos con cabras subidas en los árboles de argán (parecidos a los olivos). Sin duda, esta imagen no la voy a olvidar nunca.
Con esta historia no quiero entrar en ninguna discusión ni polémica. Me gusta explicar las experiencias de los viajes y en los vídeos solo se ve la parte más bonita y artística de ellos. Por lo tanto, si no explicara esto estaría dando una imagen equivocada de lo que vivimos.
Además, no nos arrepentimos de nada de esta excursión y todo lo anterior no significa que no nos gustara lo que vivimos.

Morocco is known for their leather exports.
So when in a medieval city like Old Fez, a popular tourist attraction is often to take a tannery tour. What are tanneries? A seven century age-old way of making leather products from belts to bags, cushions, etc...through the skinning, shearing, drying and dyeing of animal skins with the help of laborious manpower and big vats of all-natural dyes.
Now guide books will be-cry the relationship between the tanneries and its smell as a forewarning, such that a post-911 New York resident and vegetarian like myself, immediately began drawing notions of the deathly odor as being from rotting carcasses. I admit, I was a bit reluctant to tourist this territory. Nevertheless, my curiosity is stronger than fear or stench, and pinching my nostrils and breathing through the side of my mouth held work-around solutions for opening this bejeweled Fez-ian Pandora's prize.
Well, honestly,... the smell was nowhere near the scariness I had imagined.

Valencia to Granada by Bus | Spain Travel Vlog
Join us as we travel from Valencia to Granada by bus as part of our Spain travel vlogs series. We kick things off with an apartment tour of our airbnb in Valencia, Spain which featured an incredible view of the central market. The place was overall good but at times felt a little small for 4 adults and I think would better suit 2-3 at max.

After a bit of confusion and disorganization arranging taxis to the bus terminal in Valencia we finally arrived and chilled out at the station for an hour before boarding our bus to Granada. The journey itself was really scenic but quite long considering it took 8.5 hours to arrive in Granada. Along the way we stopped for a quick bite in Alicante and the highlight for us all was passing through the mountains as we approached Granada and being mesmerized by all of the snow.

Valencia to Granada by Bus | Spain Travel Vlog Video Transcript:
Good morning guys. We are here in Valencia, Spain at the moment. We had a brilliant five nights here.
I think out of all of the places we've gone so far with my parents this maybe the favorite spot. And I think the big reason was because we had the Central Market. Yeah. Right outside. We're going to show you the views.
We're going on a long trip to Granada. 8 hours on the bus? Something like that. It is going to be a long trip. But before we do that we'll give you an apartment tour of our place here in Valencia.
We are starting this apartment tour right in the living area. Yeah because the best thing about this apartment was obviously the views of the market. An amazing view and don't mind the construction. There is a whole bunch of construction. They are renovating the apartment upstairs. They are renovating the apartment. It has been noisy in here during the day.
Without further adieu let's check out the views. I'll open the door for you.
We absolutely loved the market. It had a very local vibe in the sense that there was lots of produce and meat being sold. Prices were really reasonable. And we ended up going there everyday that it was open.
Right now it is ten thirty. We've got a bus to catch at 12 so we should probably head out the door. We'll pick things up again at the bus station before we board the bus to Granada.
Now we've got an 8 hour bus ride. Well yeah and I'm going to be sleeping a lot on this bus ride. I bet. I think we all are. I'm full as a tick from breakfast. Super omelet. You made us a huge omelet with all of the leftover ingredients. We're all full. We're not even picking up any baked goods. No. We're still digesting brunch. We're good. We're good.
We've been on the road a few hours. It is 2 and a half now so our first stop here is Alicante. Actually there was another quick bus stop but we couldn't get off. Benidorm. Apparently this is going to be our only stop to eat. We only had 20 minutes so I went and grabbed some stuff. Got some chips. I got some vanilla wafers. Cookies. Vanilla cookies. Iced tea. And then the best part is that a jamon sandwich. Oh those are good. A nice meat sandwich so we are all set. We've been eating lots of those. We're all set and that should tide us to Granada where we hope to get a proper dinner when we arrive. Yes, we'll be ready for that.
Alright guys. We finally made it to the apartment. What is it like nine thirty pm or 10 pm?
Tired. I'm already in bed. I'm under the covers. On the computer. I'm done. We're going to watch Star Trek. Yeah. That is how we're going to end our day. But we will have some more really cool videos we hope from Granada soon. We're going to make travel food content and yeah we just need to rest and get a good night's sleep.
