10 Best Cities to Visit in the US in 2019
America is a vast, incredibly diverse country. There are so many amazing US cities, that it's impossible to fit them in just one list but these should get you started and just might inspire your next great American adventure.
1 SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO
Santa Fe has something unique and almost magical about it. The adobe houses are expertly hidden by natural terrain, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains are a great ski locale. Santa Fe is rich with Spanish and Native American culture. You may do a tour of the Loretto Chapel and round out your trip with some authentic Mexican cuisine and some wine from the many local wineries.
2 SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
The Bay Area is an ideal location for travelers seeking a temperate climate, incredible food and attractions, and diverse culture. A unique activity to do when in San Francisco is to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, the view of the city and the bay is spectacular.
Other sights that can’t be missed are Lombardi Street, China Town and Alcatraz.
3 BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS
Boston is the place to visit if you want to walk the streets that whisper secrets of the American Revolutionary War. Check out Paul Revere’s house, the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, and Beacon Hill. Boston also is known for its food, one must try traditional Boston Cream Pie and Boston Baked Beans and don’t forget the New England clam chowder and the lobster!
4 NASHVILLE, TENNSESSEE
Nashville, known for its country and honky-tonks, is steadily becoming a very hip place to visit and even live. Hot chicken is a local favorite, so when visiting, digging in is a must. Check out the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Parthenon.
5 MIAMI, FLORIDA
Prime travel months are december through may when the chance of hurricanes are low. Miami was found bya a woman and is known for its Cuban influences. In fact, it isn’t a trip to Miami if you don’t try a traditional Cuban sammie. Florida also is famous for its pristine white beaches and The Everglades National Park.
6 CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
Visit the Willis Tower, you can see an amazing four states on a clear day from the Skydeck, the deck floor is completely see-through! Chicago is famous for its deep dish pizza and cheesecake. Make sure to check out the “bean,” or more accurately, Cloud Gate in Millennium Park.
7 SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
Seattle is a vibrant city known for diverse food options, lots and lots of rain, and, of course, Starbucks. Visit the original Starbucks at 1st and Pike and then take a stroll through the lively and vibrant Pike Place Market. No trip to Seattle is complete without seeing the Space Needle. There is an admission fee to climb the tower but it be worth it. Do not forget check out the Chihuly Garden and Glass art exhibit.
8 SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
San Diego has the perfect weather for strolls on the beach or on Mission Beach Boardwalk. also makes for a great time at the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and San Diego Bay. Not too far from San Diego is Legoland, which is a family favorite.
Check out the local food scene. Do not miss Taco Tuesday in SD. In fact, you might just want to plan your trip around tacos.
9 AUSTIN, TEXAS
Another great locale for more temperate weather is Austin. Dig into some mouth-watering barbeque at one of the many local joints and then enjoy some live music in the “Live Music Capital of the World.” Check out the Instagrammable I Love You So Much wall then consider a “weird homes” tour. You might get a glimpse of Elijah Wood’s home.
10 SAVANNAH, GEORGIA
The best time to travel is fall, but spring in Georgia is known for its beautiful blossoming flowers. One of the best things to do in Savannah is to experience its rich history by walking through the Historic District. The south and Savannah are known for fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken. Wrap up your stay in the south by marveling at the Spanish moss in Forsyth Park.

We’re filled with history, with castles and cathedrals and mysterious old caves covered in shells and massive trees and walled seaside towns and hushed libraries filled with treasures. We’ve got pubs 800 years old, century-old theme parks, and world war 2 forts left empty and mysterious since they defended London out in the estuary of the Thames.
You can do it all in Britain: gaze at the stars, dangle from wires, sleep in a lighthouse, hold a hawk, pat a cactus, ponder the universe or just sit and drink tea. There's So much tea! And cake.
You might choose to camp in a tent or wallow in a hot tub, eat candy floss, or fish and chips. You can take to the skies or go climbing underground, like the wild landscapes of Wales or England or Scotland. You can pedal fast or paddle slow, ride on a horse or on a rollercoaster. You can do it all.
We get rain, for certain, loads of rain. But if you’re lucky you’ll get some sunshine, maybe some snow too. There’s warm nights and muddy faces, and good people who’ll make jokes about the weather and suggest cups of tea as solutions to everything.
This is my home. It’s packed full with towns and cliffs and beaches and bays and mountains and green fields. And the crazy thing is that it took me years of exploring the whole world before I finally came back home and discovered just what it is that makes Britain great.

In terms of major attractions Glasgow (Glaschu) doesn't have many iconic places to visit as nearby Edinburgh; however, I feel one of the advantages it has over Edinburgh is that the city is more spread out and each neighborhood has a distinct character.

In today’s video we’re going to be showing you around Glasgow, Scotland. This is a city that we visited last autumn and then again this summer, and on both visits, we ate like kings and queens because it turns out, Glasgow is a great destination for foodies.
Since we never got around to making a travel guide on our first visit, today we’re going to be combining the footage from both of those trips to show you some of the best things to do in Glasgow and also some of the best places to eat and drink it. So let’s get started!
And that’s a wrap for our visit to Glasgow, Scotland. We loved our two visits and we’d gladly return for a 3rd. This is an amazing city for foodies and there are so many great bars, restaurants, breweries, and distilleries to visit.
Also FYI - if you’re already visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow is just a short 50-minute train ride away, and it’s a city with its own unique vibe.

I’m Sal Lavallo. I’ve been to every country in the world. And, today I’m gonna tell you about some of my favourite countries in the Middle East and my favourite experiences in each of them.
BAHRAIN
It was one of the first places that the British came and they already had this big fort there. It also has a lot of culture and a really great National Museum, I thinks one of the better museums in the Middle East. Not only does it have a big history part but it has a really nice contemporary art like centre. I also had you know fun time driving into the desert, have you heard of the tree of life or so the tree of life in Bahrain you drive desert desert desert and suddenly there is this huge green tree that people think is this anomaly. I think Bahrain in a lot of ways is an anomaly.
EGYPT
I one night ate pigeon and it’s actually pretty good. I was you know we ordered it, it’s somewhat common and it’s not, it’s fine, it’s like a small little bird it’s hard to get the meat off but you have to eat it with your hands. I kind of go through the bones, I wouldn’t recommend it. You know on a first date because you’re a little bit you know using your hands but it’s that was interesting that was a first for me. What I remember the most was that the pyramids are first time you see them are amazing and then you drive by them every day and it’s funny that something so incredible can become so normalized. I went to Luxor to see all of the temples there and it’s just you know they say that the pyramids were older to Cleopatra then Cleopatra is to the iPhone. That’s unbelievable right, to think that there’s that much history.
IRAQ
I spent my time in Iraqi Kurdistan and I think I was a little bit nervous to go there. I think a lot of places we get nervous since all in our heads and the second that I landed you know we were walking down the streets seeing everybody living their normal day lives, we got really really comfortable and it’s such a beautiful place. We ate a lot of kababs, we also ate a lot of fresh honey, we had to drank too much sugary tea, I think we are always like kind of had the sugar shakes, oh and the have like a big like bazaar and herbal that’s similar to like the Turkish Grand Bazaar and you can get all you know Turkish delight and tons of dried figs and dried nuts there. That’s really it’s kind of like a culinary heaven there in a way.
JORDAN
We went to Petra another really intense historical site that just kind of comes out of nowhere in the middle of the desert and then when we were leaving it started snowing and we got caught in a snowstorm which you again wouldn’t you know even I who had lived here for many years I sometimes, oh Middle East must be hot and you know we’re like deserts must be hot and that’s not true. It was so cold, snow everywhere.
KUWAIT
I thought it was such a pleasant city, I mean like palm trees and we went in like may be April so it was like perfect time weather-wise and all of our business meetings were really successful and everybody was really nice, so it was like a perfect experience.

Few places are as cliché bucolic as the Lake District in northwest England. This was my first trip to the UK and while most travelers would choose to explore the big city on a first visit, I've always loved the countryside, so I was excited to explore the parts of the country known for their stunning natural good looks. The Lake District attracts some 15 million people each year. They come to marvel at this lush green meets blue region's lakes, hills and fells, or drive quiet country roads to quaint lost-in-time villages perfect for sipping a cup of afternoon tea. Beyond the outdoors, this region is also rich in literary history with connections to William Wordsworth, John Ruskin and Beatrix Potter, who were among the wordsmiths to be inspired by this magical region. Join us from Cardiff, Wales as we cover 10 things to do in Cardiff city including popular attractions, cool castes, green escapes, and Welsh food worth trying in this travel guide. Although we were sick for most of our visit to Cardiff, UK we ended up still finding enough time to visit the city center, our neighborhood and a few off-the-beaten path attractions.
What we loved most about Cardiff, Wales is just how friendly the locals here are in the supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and cafe that we frequented. On a rainy day we might put on the kettle, down a few Welsh cakes and pop open our umbrella for a wee stroll. When it was sunny, which fortunately for us was most of the time, we enjoyed exploring castles and arcades while wandering around in parks.
Cardiff is a city you appreciate the more you linger. You start to find favorite cafes, restaurants and pubs you return to frequently and after a while you feel more like a local after recognizing faces in and around your neighborhood. This is what we'll remember most and why we recommend visiting Cardiff which is a city with more of a town vibe.

10 Things to do in Cardiff, Wales Travel Guide Video Script:
Well hello hello from Cardiff, Wales. New destination for us. New destination. It is our very first time to Wales and we're so excited to be here. We've wanted to come to Wales for a really long time and we're going to explore Cardiff and show you guys what you can do here in this travel guide.
We started our visit of Cardiff Castle with a self-guided tour of the Castle Apartments. This is the newest-looking part of the castle as it was renovated in the early 19th century in the Gothic revival style. As part of the tour we got to see the Banqueting Hall, the Library, and a few different rooms, but the place that really caught our attention was the Arab room designed in a Moorish style which is quite different from the rest of the rooms.
We continued on to the Norman Keep, which dates to the 11th century. The 12-sided structure sits atop a hill and is surrounded by a moat, and if you climb to the very top you get some nice 360 degree views of the city.
And lastly, we visited the roman walls, and although these too have been renovated, the foundations date back to 50 AD.
And that’s it for our visit to Cardiff, Wales. Our trip was short and sweet but we hope this video gave you a few ideas of things to do in Cardiff on your own visit.
