GoPro video at Cenote Hubiku Temozón Mexico - March 2019
A short GoPro video of our daytrip to Cenote Hubiku on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico in March of 2019 during my birthday trip to Tulum. An excellent place to visit!! It is a little touristy with a Tequilla museum and buffet lunch spot but definitely worth the trip. The water was clear, cold, and full of catfish to swim with! I apologize for the shaky camera, I was feeling a little under the weather this day and the struggle was real hahaha

You will love Playa it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The weather in Playa del Carmen is always nice. The beaches are awesome and the Food is to die for.
Playa del Carmen is located within the Riviera Maya, which runs from south of Cancún to Tulum and the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve. Playa is a stop for several cruise ships which dock at the nearby Calica quarry docks, about six miles south of the city. The Xcaret Eco Park, a Mexican-themed eco-archaeological park, is a popular tourist destination located just south of the town in Xcaret (pronounced shkar-et). Tourist activity in Playa del Carmen centers on Quinta Avenida, or Fifth Avenue, stretching from Calle 1 norte until Calle 40, a pedestrian walkway located just one or two blocks inland from the beach. Fifth Avenue is lined with hundreds of shops Guide To Playa Del Carmen In Mexico

Guide To Playa Del Carmen In MexicoPlaya del Carmen is distinct among Yucatan beach towns both culturally and commercially. While its beaches are similar to other destinations', its nightlife and hotel culture is hipper in the European and American style, blending the traditional Mexican locale with a more permissive and opulent array of tourist options.

Mérida, Córdoba, Guadalajara...ciudades repetidas / Same name for different cities [IGEO.TV]
Many localities in America received its present name when the Spaniards decided to name the cities that were founded by place of origin, or to remember somewhere in Spain, regardless if the same name was used several times. Dozens of cities in Mexico are part of this phenomenon.
As an example, the city of Mérida, Yucatán is currently participating in a conference called The World Méridas where along its namesake define Spanish and Venezuelan joint tourism and cultural strategies.
United States is no exception, as many places have names of Spanish origin. Most were part of New Spain, and became a member of the country's north following the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo.
In the video we see cities such as Mérida, Córdoba, Santiago and Guadalupe.
