This is what Chinatown looks like in Melbourne, Australia.
It's just a small laneway stretching 2 blocks in length. It pales in comparison to Bangkok's Chinatown, but I think Melbourne's one is still pretty cool.
Cars use to be able to park along the curb of the laneway, but it seems like that have banned that. It looks much wider now, due to that, but it also makes it look much wider and more emptier.

Melbourne Underworld (Underbelly) Key Sites Tour - March 2010
This is my short film of my visit to some of the key sites in the Melbourne underworld war that raged between 1995-2004, which was made famous by the Australian televisions series, Underbelly.
After researching the locations from books available about the underworld war, I decided to visit them during a day trip to Melbourne, where I stayed overnight before flying to Los Angeles the following day.
The clip features my visit to Barrington Crescent in Gladstone Park (where the Moran brothers shot Carl Williams in the stomach), and the locations where Jason Moran, Mark Moran, Lewis Moran, Victor Peirce, Nik Radev, George Germanos, and Willie Thompsons were shot & killed.
The clip closes with a visit outside of the St Mary's Star Of The Sea church in West Melbourne, which was where the funeral services for Alphonse Gangitano & Jason Moran were held.
