Anguilla
Anguilla is a British overseas territory in the Caribbean. It is one of the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles, lying east of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and directly north of Saint Martin. The territory consists of the main island of Anguilla, approximately 26 km long by 5 km wide at its widest point, together with a number of much smaller islands and cays with no permanent population. The island's capital is The Valley. The total land area of the territory is square 90 km2, with a population of approximately 13,500 (2006 estimate).

Anguilla is everything you need from a Caribbean island – beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise waters, scenic bays, gentle breezes and palm trees as far as the eye can see.
A slow and laid-back atmosphere dominates the island, where locals and visitors both adopt a slower pace of life during their time there.
Anguilla comprises a small main island and several offshore islets. Its beaches range from long sandy stretches like Rendezvous Bay, overlooking neighbouring Saint Martin island, to secluded coves reached by boat, such as at Little Bay.
Protected areas include Big Spring, known for its prehistoric petroglyphs, and East End Pond, a wildlife conservation site.

Sandy Island is also featured. Sandy Island, Anguilla is a tiny island that is a short boat ride from Sandy Ground, Anguilla. I highly recommend visiting Anguilla!
