Hotel Bellevue - Sweden Hotels, Hjo, Sweden HD review
Hotel Bellevue is located in the Stadsparken park in central Hjo, right next to Lake Vättern. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and a relaxation area with sauna. All rooms at Bellevue Hotel have cable TV, and many overlook the park or the nearby marina. Some parts of the hotel date back to the late 1800s. General facilities at Hotel Bellevue include a guest lounge with a flat-screen TV and a pool table. Attractions such as the Karlsborg Fortress and the Göta Canal are within a 30 minute drive, and the Hökensås Golf Course is only 6 miles away.
Dixie Square Mall 2/28/10
Under the belief that the mall's demolition was in the immediate future, we rushed back to the mall to conduct a final shoot; and a looting mission. Despite the foot or two of snow, the place proved to be quite busy throughout the day; having crossed paths with two other flickr members during the visit (one by-invite, the other by-surprise).
I didn't try a guided tour this time as most of this trip was spent photographing each storefront; one exterior and a few or so inside. For video I mostly just shot interesting angles and unseen parts of the mall. We did get lost in the Penneys offices on the second floor, again - but with better lighting, this time.
After packing-up cameras and such, we relocated the Thom McAn sign from the stock room in Burt's Shoes to the loading docks of Turn Style. The dock door, amazingly, still functioned like new, and made it easy to run the letters through the deep snow to our van. Unfortunately I didn't shoot video of that.
