Chora, the capital of Tinos is a beautiful Cycladic city, with glitter, glamour, and above all - favor with the Virgin Mary, patroness of the island. From the port starts the Blessed avenue that leads to the imposing church of Our Lady of Tinos. The right side of the road has a strip of carpet for the faithful who arrive at the entrance to the Church on their knees to pray for miracles or healing. Going up the steep road and seeing the imposing Church in the distance, the solemn atmosphere is quite overwhelming. The town is built around a busy harbor. It is a densely populated city, faithful to Cycladic architecture. Walking the cobbled streets, you will encounter many small churches and quiet neighborhoods, while the main streets offer many shops, restaurants, cafes and of course hotels and lodgings.

Mykonos is a Greek island, part of the Cyclades, lying between Tinos, Syros, Paros and Naxos. The island spans an area of 85.5 square kilometres (33.0 sq mi) and rises to an elevation of 341 metres (1,119 feet) at its highest point. There are 10,134 inhabitants (2011 census), most of whom live in the largest town, Mykonos, which lies on the west coast. The town is also known as Chora (i.e. the Town in Greek, following the common practice in Greece when the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town).
Mykonos' nickname is The island of the winds. Tourism is a major industry and Mykonos is well known for its vibrant nightlife.

Tinos (Greek: Τήνος) is a Greek island situated in the Aegean Sea.
Tinos is famous amongst Greeks for the Church of Panagia Evangelistria.
The island is located near the geographical center of the Cyclades island complex, and because of the Panagia Evangelistria church, with its reputedly miraculous icon of Virgin Mary that it holds, Tinos is also the center of a yearly pilgrimage that takes place on the date of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (August 15, Dekapentavgoustos in Greek).

SUBSCRIBE: - Let's visit Paros (ΠΑΡΟΣ) which is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea best known for its beaches and traditional villages. Parikia, the bayside capital, is a boating and transportation hub for the Cyclades region. It's also home to the Panagia Ekatontapiliani, a landmark Byzantine church from the 4th century A.D. The north coast's Kolimbithres is a beach where naturally sculpted rocks form swimming coves.
Parikia is the capital and the main port of Paros island. It is one of the most typical Cycladic settlements as it is distinguished by its narrow cobbled paths, the old churches, the small shops and the houses in blue and white. Parikia is today one of the most popular and busiest spot of the island, as its cafeterias and restaurants along the waterfront attract many visitors. Parikia is also famous for its vivid nightlife, which makes it along with Naoussa village (on the northern side of the island) the two busiest tourist resorts of Paros.
