New Jersey is often associated with a lot of bad things.
The Garden State is accused of having some of the highest taxes in the country. And being too populated.
A land mostly made up of highways, yet traffic is a constant theme here.
The thing is, though, every place has its own ups and downs. And while Jersey has some pretty nasty ones, it is not short of its fair share of plusses.
Like its enviable location – it is possible to work in New York and live in New Jersey; or spend a Saturday in Philadelphia and be back home for dinner.
New Jersey is a beautiful state with plenty of shore towns and beloved diners.
Its rural farmland is a source of fresh local produce that you’ll find displayed on farm stands, albeit mostly in summer.
It is a beautifully diverse state, and a state famous for high-performing public schools, with one of the highest high school graduation rates in the country.
Here are the 10 best places to live in new Jersey for 2018:
1. North Arlington.
2. Princeton.
3. Saddle Brook.
4. Concordia.
5. Clifton.
6. Oradell.
7. Ridgewood.
8. Collingswood.
9. Chatham.
10. Haddonfield.

Hollins Mill Tunnel in Lynchburg, Virginia
On the west side of downtown Lynchburg, Virginia, Blackwater Creek has carved a steep gorge as it makes its way to the James River. In the mid-19th century several railroad lines were built to connect Lynchburg to the western frontier and to other major cities to the north and east. One of the lines passed through the Blackwater Creek area and a 450 foot long tunnel was constructed. The tunnel was built by African slaves and Irish immigrants by a combination of black powder blasting and hand digging. Two groups started on either end of the tunnel and met in the middle.
The tunnel is named for the nearby Hollins Mill site, a historic water powered mill located along Blackwater Creek. Today, the property is owned by the City of Lynchburg and a popular walking/biking path passes through the tunnel. Hollins Mill Road and McIvor Street both pass over the tunnel. Despite its location right in downtown Lynchburg, the area has a fantastic wild feel to it.

5 Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Raleigh, North Carolina | US Travel Guide
5 Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Raleigh, United States
Named for Sir Walter Raleigh, who established a short-lived English settlement here in the 1580s, North Carolina's state capital was, like Washington, D.C., planned from the start as the capital city. From its founding in 1792, it was called the City of Oaks, and its leaders ever since have been committed to preserving and maintaining its parks and trees. The result is an attractive and very livable city, where modern glass and steel construction is softened by parks and greenways. Both visual and performing arts are important here, and you'll find art museums and theaters among its most popular tourist attractions. Raleigh's past is especially visible in the Historic Oakwood neighborhood, where you'll see beautifully restored Victorian-style homes. Let's see five tourist attraction in raleigh, North Carolina.
1. Pullen Park
2. Mordecai Historic Park
3. Marbles Kids Museum
4. North Carolina Museum of Art
5. North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences
