Our trip to Valparaiso, Chile South America was beautiful. The Nature Healing Retreat - Chile experience kicked off in Santiago and we explored many areas throughout Chile. Santiago is a huge tourist destination and has a rich history and culture.
In this travel guide vlog we explored the colorful city of Valparaíso which is on the Pacific Coast of Chile. We drove to Viña del Mar for some AMAZING seafood and the views were incredible. We then traveled to the Casablanca Wine Region that's located directly between Santiago and Valparaiso. The trip ended at an eco-friendly built on the side of a cliff!

By popular demand ever since the comments went Spanish the Chileans have asked me to travel there so this is a tour of Viña del Mar Chile. The Chilean city on the coast only a kilometer north from Valparaiso compact enough to walk around and see most of the city in a day. Within an hour I can tell why so many people love Vina del Mar and understand the appeal of this clean city on the sea shore. We walk to the corner of the city with the castle and the Vina clock made of flowers also called the reloj de flores. After we move to the city centre with green park and then walk back to the beach where the jetty with the crane is. Just before sunset I head up to the viewpoint on the motorcycle to watch the sunset behind Viña del Mar. The sky turns orange on the waterfront of this Chilean city on the coast and the sun sets behind Valparaiso. Damaged the bike a bit while riding off with the disk lock still on but other than that it was a great day sightseeing in Viña and I can imagine that life in this city can be good. Though traffic was absolute murder in the evening.

Un día en Viña del Mar, Chile
Mi viaje solo por Chile comenzó en Viña del Mar. Hay bastantes cosas y lugares que ver en Viña del Mar: el casino, la calle Valparaíso, el castillo Wulff, el muelle, las playas, el reloj de flores, y los malls en la parte moderna de la ciudad.
Viña del Mar es una ciudad prolija, ordenada, y muy turística. Desde el aeropuerto de Santiago se debe tomar un bus hasta la terminal Pajaritos y de ahí otro bus a la terminal Rodovario de Viña del Mar. El viaje dura cerca de una hora y media.
Pasé 3 días en Viña del Mar, donde me alojé en un hostel y conocí la ciudad, las dunas de Con Con, las playas de Reñaca y la mítica ciudad de Valparaíso... Todo eso y más en los próximos videos! :)

Viña del Mar is a coastal resort city northwest of Santiago, Chile. It's known for its gardens, beaches and high-rise buildings. Quinta Vergara Park is home to the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater, the early-20th-century Vergara Palace and the Artequin Museum, which displays copies of major artworks. The Museum of Archeology and History Francisco Fonck features stone moai sculptures from Easter Island and shrunken heads.
Day Tour: Valparaiso and Vina del Mar, Chile
Valparaiso and Vina del Mar can easily be combined into a day tour from Santiago. Excellent highways lead through vineyards in the Casablanca Valley until Valparaiso, around 1-1/2 drive from Santiago. Many tour operators in Santiago offer wine tours, Valparaiso only tours, Vina del Mar only tours and different combinations.
Valparaiso is Chile's main seaport and also where cruise ships dock. It is a very San Francisco-y city, even on a gloomy day where Vina del Mar was block after block of condominiums and apartments. Let's just call the day, an experience...
Chile one day breaks from Santiago | Valparaiso and Vina del Mar alone
A bus leaves from Santiago every hour from the city centre leaves for Valparaiso for around 13,000- 14,000 chilean pesos return trip. You have have to choose times of departure, but I would normally recommend to just buy your tickets on the day unless you are planning to visit in peak season.
For the bus station in Valparaiso you can either take a second bus to the centre which is about 15 minutes and passes regularly, or you can walk for about 45 minutes. You can get a map at the bus station or just use satnav on your phone.
Once there, I recommend that you start at the cierra concepción and then work your way through the streets. This area doesn't have any one main attraction. I had the impression that it's all about stolling through the painted and picturesque streets, and stopping in chic cafes for coffee or a glass of wine. There are plenty of top end shops to smooch though.
I also recommend taking another 15 minute bus to Vina del Mar that will take you pass the famous clock made of flowers. If you have time it makes an interesting pass time. In addition to this the street there are also very nice to stroll around and wonder through.
