This was recorded at the BunkerMuseum in Hanstholm, Thy, Denmark. It is the largest remaining WW II fortifications in Northern Europe, and one of the best-preserved German coastal batteries in Denmark. These defenses extended over an area of 9 sqKm, and were manned by more than 3,000 soldiers.
During WW II, the largest fortifications in Northern Europe were built at Hanstholm as part of the German Atlantic Wall. The bunkermuseum housed one of four large 38cm guns which measures in at 19m long and weighs 110tonnes.
Today, the museum is surrounded by peaceful countryside that is ideal for picnicing. It is located in the northenmost part of the Hanstholm Game Sanctuary.
