Our traditional hotel, which was recently rebuilt and equipped to modern standards, has 56 comfortable rooms with 75 beds in total. We also offer a conference room with space for up to 80 delegates. The basement is the home of our rustic bar, the Waldbahnschanke complete with a bowling alley, large-screen TV, a pool table and dartboard. For more relaxing moments we also have a sauna and solarium available to our guests. Our stylish restaurant features a wide-ranging and constantly-changing menu with excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere. The historic Thuringerwaldbahn transports you from our front door right into the heart of the Thuringian Forest with its many attractions and delightful scenery. Gothas town centre and Schloss Friedenstein are only a few minutes walk away, as well as the local museums.
