Weißenstadt is a town in the district of Wunsiedel, in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the shore of the picturesque Weißenstadter See , in the Fichtelgebirge Mountains, on the river Eger, 11 km northwest of Wunsiedel.
