Lake Schwendisee Toggenburg, St. Gallen SWITZERLAND 山
Schwendisee is a small lake above Wildhaus and Unterwasser on the slopes of the Churfirsten, in Toggenburg, Canton of St. Gallen,The border between the two municipalities runs right through the lakes.
The two Schwendiseen between Gamser- and Chäserrugg located in a sheltered flat moorland of national importance. When the Schwendi glacier about 14,000 years ago melted down, he left the lakes.
You can take a bath in the lake. There is a dock and a raft. The smaller rear Schwendisee is separated from the main lake by a forest strip. Both lakes are surrounded by a dense marsh and reed belt. They are fed by a respective nameless creek. In the lake live tench, perch, pike and leeches. Fishing is allowed for a fee.
Around the lake is a promenade. North of the lake Schwendisee is the Hotel Seegüetli.

Real Switzerland Summer (Tourism Promo by DirectRooms.com)
A dense network of hiking trails covers the region. Among the trails is the multiple-day Toggenburg Mountain Tour extending for 87 kilometers from Wildhaus to Wil. Shorter theme-trails such as the Sound Trail, the Thur Trail, the Necki Path, or the Saga Trail, as well as Nordic Walking routes invite you to discover Toggenburg by foot. A barefoot walk on the educational moor trail around the high moor of Rietbach near Krummenau lets you discover rare plants and is balm for body and soul. The hilly topography attracts mountainbikers as well. For these, Toggenburg offers 18 sign-posted routes, between 13 and 44 kilometers long. Numerous mountain lakes (Gräppelensee, Schönenbodensee and the Schwendi Lakes) attract swimmers.
[Summer lasts roughly from June to September and offers the most pleasant climate for outdoor pursuits (apart from exclusively winter sports). In fact, many adventure sports, such as canyoning, are only offered during this time. The peak period is July and August, when prices are high, accommodation often fully booked and the sights packed. You'll find better deals, and fewer people, in the shoulder seasons either side of summer: in April, May and October. With the exception of the busy Easter break, spring is a beautiful time of year to explore the blooming countryside. In Ticino, flowers are in bloom as early as March. Hikers wanting to walk at high altitudes, however, should be equipped for snow and ice until well into June (and, in some tricky spots, all year).]

VLOG | SWITZERLAND! #anajiatravelog
It's our 2nd time in Switzerland! My mom loveeee Switzerland so much that we spent 4 days just in Switzerland. We booked an Airbnb house in Interlaken and the host was so nice and welcoming! I must admit that Switzerland is pretty, but there's nothing much to do unless you're an adventurous person, then there are a lot of outdoor activities that you can do!
Other than that, we got to meet our friend in Zurich too! Jassi was so nice for willing to come to Zurich all the way from Germany just to meet us!
I'm finally done with my #anajiatravelog in Europe! More to come? InsyaAllah.
