Last week, Emma and I visited Wakehurst Place, A Kew Botanical Garden to see the gorgeous flowers and feed the ducks. Emma absolutely loved it and I really enjoy visiting these kind of places as I can just let her explore as she wants to without worrying too much

West Dean Gardens June 2015

A visit to West Dean Gardens in Sussex on a glorious day in June 2015. Previous days had been very stormy and wet, but this day turned out beautiful.
We toured the many glasshouses, the new sunken garden, the loggia and the path down the river.
Apart from the flowers and shrubs note the recently fledged robin, a thrush and goldfinch.
And, YES!!!, that is a Spitfire passing over.
