Yudal Mountain is a mountain located in Mokpo city, Jeollanam-do in South Korea. It is one of the 8 Famous Scenes of Mokpo and is a symbol of the city. At the summit, thousands of islands can be seen with several hills of strange looking rocks. The nickname of the mountain is Mountain Gaegol, which refers to Mountain Geumgang in North Korea during the summer. The three highest peaks are called first, second and madang bawi. Two monuments are found on or near the mountain; the first is a statue of General Yi Sun-sin, the other is of a famous singer Lee Nan-young. I traveled to Hoengseong-gun and stopped at Bumsan Dairy Farm. Bumsan Dairy Farm is a place to produce milk in a nature-friendly way. The overall management was so good that I was healing just by resting here. If you go to Hoengseong County in Gangwon province, I recommend you to visit Bumsan Dairy Farm.

횡성군을 여행하면서 범산목장에 들렀습니다. 범산목장은 자연친화적인 방식으로 우유를 생산하는 곳이고요. 전반적인 관리가 너무 잘 되어있어서 이곳에서 잠시 쉬고 오는 것만으로도 힐링이 되었습니다. 강원도 횡성을 가신다면 범산목장에 꼭 들러보시기를 추천드려요.

The Korean Adventure continues! This episode picks up after I stayed the night back at the 2U Drive In Hotel. This is a pretty unique hotel that provides a garage. This is great, because my bike was out of the weather, secured and I didn’t have to download the bike to stay the night! Price is reasonable, clean and modern! In the morning I departed Mokpo and after briefing exploring the Mokpo foothills, I headed north on Highway 15 along the western coast of South Korea. I stopped to eat along the way at one of the countries roadside break areas. The food was really good and the scenery along the route was great this time of year.
