David's Been Here is touring around Malawi's towns of Zomba and Blantyre. Showing off his hotel Sunbird Ku Chawe, David displays the beautiful rooms, breathtaking surroundings and fantastic views from this high mountain resort. Heading into Zomba town, once the colonial capital during the British colonization, you can experience some historic sites such as the remains of parliament as well as the old press buildings. Heading off to Blantyre, David shows off some more local sites before touring his hotel Protea Ryalls. If you're looking for a change of appetite during your stay, try out the Bombay Palace across the street from the hotel- delicious Indian cuisine that's a much-welcomed change from the usual menu.

In this video, I visit the Samtemwa Tea Estate, Zomba market, Liwonde National Park, Mangochi, CapeMcClear and the award-winning eco-tourist paradise that is Mumbo Island.

Discover a little oasis on Nkhata Bay Malawi, Mayoka Village! This was the perfect spot for us to stay for a few days and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Malawi. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, cliff jumping and met some amazing people while we were there.

Lilongwe Central & Crafts Market - Malawi, Africa
David's Been Here is in Malawi's capital of Lilongwe, where David tours the city's central market and crafts market. Walk around the tight quarters and crowded stalls selling everything from fruits to clothes, but make sure you bring a guide with you! David explains the semi-hectic scene of traversing the central market, which for some might be a bit overwhelming to experience. Heading off to the more subtle market of the two, David displays the various carvings, souvenirs and trinkets that you can pick up at the Lilongwe Crafts Market. With intricate masks, animals, globes and more being hand carved right in front of you, you shouldn't have a shortage of things to buy at this more touristic market of the two.
Lake Malawi - Cape Maclear - tourism
Cape Maclear (or Chembe) is a town in the Mangochi District of Malawi's Southern Region. The town, situated on the Nankumba Peninsula, is on the southern shore of Lake Malawi and is the busiest resort on Lake Malawi. Cape Maclear is close to the islands of Domwe and Thumbwe on Lake Malawi, and is in Lake Malawi National Park.
