Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and Mono Lake on a CBR600RR - DAY 3/3 : Part 1/2 (NO MUSIC VERSION)
MUSIC VERSION -
NEXT PART -
PREVIOUS DAY -
Three day solo trip to the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in California, September 2016. I started in the Bay Area, went to Lake Tahoe, then to Mono Lake and finished up through Yosemite on the way home. I took a bunch of roads and highways I had never been on. The Honda performed flawlessly and it was a pure joy to have her in the mountains. She makes touring on a supersport a breeze.
Day 3 has been split into two parts. Part 1 is the ride west via Tioga Pass (Tioga Road/Highway 120) from Mono Lake to Yosemite Valley. Part 2 is the ride back to the Bay Area from Yosemite Valley.
After intermittent rain the day before, there wasn't a cloud in the sky in Yosemite National Park. The crowd was not bad at all for Yosemite. I had only driven there in a car from the west side and had never been on Tioga Pass. Being the highest highway pass in California and the Sierra Nevadas, the road is usually closed from mid November to mid May. It is less traversed than the more popular Yosemite Valley, so there's more wilderness and less people.

How No Swimmers Noticed Toddler Drowning At Crowded Water Park Wave Pool
A heroic, eagle-eyed lifeguard came to the rescue of a 3-year-old swimmer that was drowning - and no one around the child even noticed what was happening. At Whirlin' Waters Adventure Park, a wave pool in North Charleston, South Carolina, a little girl was struggling and a lifeguard sprung to action. In a video of the rescue, people were swimming next to the girl, but don't appear to notice what's happening to her.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.

SUMMARY
=======
Nahanni National Park Reserve in the Dehcho Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada, approximately 500 km (311 mi) west of Yellowknife, protects a portion of the Mackenzie Mountains Natural Region. The centrepiece of the park is the South Nahanni River (Naha Dehé). Four noteworthy canyons reaching 1,000 m (3,300 ft) in depth, called First, Second, Third and Fourth Canyon, line this spectacular whitewater river. The name Nahanni comes from the indigenous Dene language name for the area; Nahʔa Dehé, which means river of the land of the Nahʔa people, who some now speculate may have been the ancestors of the modern day Navajo people.
