25 Things to do in Madrid, Spain | Top Attractions Travel Guide Travel Video Transcript:
Hola y bienvenidos a Madrid. This week we are in the Spanish capital and we are going to show you twenty five of the best things to do in the city.
Final thoughts on your time in Madrid. Well, I really enjoyed the city. And I really found that it is super walk-able. We were here for 10 days and we hardly had to take the metro at all. We just took the bus once when we were visiting the stadium but the rest of the time we were able to walk wherever we needed to go. And also I think it is a great city for art lovers. There are so many galleries and museums to check out. And a lot of them are free in the evening. So keep that in mind.
And now it is your turn. What did you think of Madrid? You know what? I absolutely loved Madrid. It is a city that just really clicked with me. We have a lot of friends that are living here long term and prior to coming here I had no idea like why would someone want to come to Madrid? Now I totally get it. I love the culture, I love the food, I love the nightlife. Everything is really cheap. I go to the grocery store and I can get a one liter thing of wine for just over a Euro. It is just a really affordable fun city to be in. And it is somewhere I hope I have a chance to come back to again soon.
And that is a wrap of our time in Madrid! We had a splendid time and were truly sad to say goodbye to the city, but that just means we'll have to come back again. If you have any travel tips for Madrid, feel free to share those in the comments below.
This is part of our Travel in Spain series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Spanish culture, Spanish arts, Spanish foods, Spanish religion, Spanish cuisine and Spanish people.

Hidden Gems in Barcelona
In this video you can see some very cool and unknown places I found in Barcelona worth a visit. First I went toMirador de Mundet where you can find a swing attached to a tree; later that morning I went to visit Casa Vicens, Gaudi's first house. Not so many people know about this places so they were not so crowded.

Travelling in Spain - Exploring Granada
Granada is a beautiful city in Spain, approximately 1 hour from the coast and is full or history, nature, architecture and art.
I spent 24 hours exploring Granada and I absolutely loved it.
There are many things to do, such as viewing how people live in the caves, taking free tapas with every drink you order, walking through pebble stone streets, viewing the whole city with gorgeous sunsets, partying with the locals, language exchanges, enjoying the fashion through the small streets in the city, and much more!
I stayed at Oasis Hostel which is just 5 minutes away from a popular viewing point of La Alhambra, and just a 5 minute walk from the main gran via which passes through the city centre.
I also took part in an graffiti and cave tour through Granada Street Art and Caves Tour, through Oasis Hostel.
I will definitely be back to this lovely city as there is much more for me to see and many more hidden secrets to be discovered.
The best thing from the whole trip has to be the 1-2 euro beer, which always came with a free tapas. Tapas are traditional plates of food that are always given for free as a side ‘nibble’ with your drink. (Not all parts of Spain give you tapas for free) so make sure to do it the traditional way and get it for free!!

Alpinism in Chamonix - Pointe Isabella 3.671m
During the summer of 2017, my Dad asked me to go mountain climbing with him to legendary Chamonix, the climbing mecca at the foothills of highest mountain of the Alps, Mont Blanc. It was going to be my first time alpine climbing, an adventurous sport that my father has been practising for over 40 years and wanted to share with me. I immediately accepted, having only seen the captivating mountains around Chamonix in pictures.
Our goal was to summit Pointe Isabella(3.671 m), named after Isabella Straton, who took part in its first ascent in 1875.
My adventure would start in Madrid, where I was living at the time. After failing to catch the first flight (not my fault), I had to rebook. In the end, it took me 12 hours to get to Düsseldorf, where my father lives. From there, we packed and set off in the middle of the night, driving through the darkness. After 12 hours, we arrived in Chamonix.
Once everything was ready, we headed towards the Montenvers train Station, which took us up to the stunning glacier of Mer de Glace. Heading straight through this literal sea of ice was an amazing thing to see. From there, we climbed up to the Couvercle Hut, which we reached just before sunset.
After a (very) short night, at 3 am we were heading out towards the summit. During the long and steady hike through rock and ice, I was constantly amazed by the beauty of the landscape and, at the same time, how scary everything looked.
Unfortunately, we reached an icewall that, while passable, was far too technical for the equipment we had brought and my skill level. We could have surpassed it, but the chances of belaying were slim and we had no good way of getting down afterwards. Glaciers are constantly moving and sometimes they form into difficult crevasses and seracs, like this time.
It was a little hard to turn back 300 metres below summit, but this is how it works in the mountains they show you how small you are. There, as in life, sometimes you get lucky and others you learn.
Even if we didn't reach the summit, we were super happy to have had such a cool adventure together. After all, it's all about having fun but also coming home safely. And, since we didn't summit, we have an excuse to come back. :)

Quito through the lens of Timelapse Photography
Quito sits within an Andean valley, surrounded on all sides by an intense and striking landscape. As a result, the city is highly affected by topography, with numerous vantage points for some incredible panoramas.
Timelapse photography is a powerful primary research documentation tool that offers designers the ability to compress a dense amount of information into accelerated frame rates better suited for analysis of environments in flux. It is within this compression that a designer can understand the complex and subtle nature of patterns and hierarchies, information that is not immediately evident while standing on a street corner or overlooking a valley.
This research is part of an ongoing investigation into timelapse photography and its role in architectural representation and site analysis.

olympusXplorers - Pyrenees Making Of
In November 2017, a group of 7 #olympusXplorers went on a trip to the French Pyrenees to test the latest Olympus gear. Packed with the OM-D E-M1 Mark II and some M.Zuiko PRO lenses Hannes Becker, Lennart Pagel, Daniel Ernst, Max Fischer, Leo Thomas, Roman Königshofer and Tobias Schnorpfeil started their trip to the natural border between France and Spain. The Pyrenees offer a gorgeous landscape of high mountains, green valleys, dramatic gorges, pristine lakes, and rushing waterfalls, perfect for long hiking trips.
Every day they spent most time hiking from one spot to the other – from warm valleys to the cold and high alpines – with temperature differences from up to 30 degrees – always seeking for new motives to be captured.
