It is one of the most popular beaches of Corfu and it took its name from the church of Agios Gordios located literally on the sea, at the centre of the beach. The beautiful cove is nested amongst the lush green mountain surrounded by olive tree forests, vineyards and impressive rocks. To reach the beach of Agios Gordios you pass through a beautiful road full of vineyards and high olive trees. Once you reach the beach you will meet plenty of tourists facilities to enjoy a comfortable sunbathing. The crystalline waters are ideal for a refreshing swim while water sports equipment are also available for both children and adults. During the say, the beach is quite noisy with children playing in the waves. The beach is bordered by the impressive Ortholithi, a huge rock emerging from the sea. Another day another adventure here on this trip to Corfu, Greece. It started off with the news that Daniela missed her flight and wouldn't be arriving until the end of the day so I had another day on my own before she arrived.
Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy travelling solo, but by this point I was missing Daniela wayyyyy too much so I was bumped she couldn't make it sooner.
Although...later that day I saw one of the most beautiful sights from mother nature off of the coast of Agios Gordios!
