The Afghan / Persian New Year, NowRoz (No-Rooz), is the first day of spring, marking the turn of a new season and an opportunity to look forward to a new beginning. This day long celebration is one of the most important among people of Afghan & Persian decent all over the world.
Afghan/Persian Americans, as well as their friends, families, respective organizations, business owners, artists and the entire surrounding communities will participate in a collaborative effort in the Annual Nowroz Festival. This year NowRoz Festival will gather over 15,000 attendees, making it the largest gathering of Afghan/Persian Americans to date!
Festivities include live music by popular recording artists, ethnic and modern fashion shows, talent show, comedy showcase, cultural dance showcase, chess and ethnic card tournaments. Other free activities also include cultural exhibitions, face painting, balloon artists, celebrity and famous author meet and greet, kid's zone, carnival games, rides and much more to be announced. A variety of Afghan & Persian food and delicacies will be available for attendees at our international food area, and our vendor bazaar will have booths with goods from Afghanistan, Iran and around the globe.
The NowRoz Festival is United States Largest Afghan & Persian New Year & Cultural Celebration. The NowRoz Festival has attracted over 200,000 Attendees since its start over a decade ago. Join us this year for the largest NowRoz festivities to date and be part of history.

If you guys didn't know already, Alameda County holds a fair every year in Pleasanton, CA, with rides and carnival games. Alameda Fair County is located in Pleasanton CA. It is very big The Alameda County Fairgrounds is a 270-acre. We had great time my kids loved the rides. It is home to the annual Alameda County Fair, You can find alot of different delicious food. They have rides for kids and grown ups. We tried each one of those rides. We well see you next year.

Alameda County Fair 2019
This was at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton. Wanted to test out my new Tamron 28-75mm on my Sony A7III using HLG picture profile and the Leeming LUT Pro. I loved the image quality coming out of the Tamron and the versatility it gives you, especially for run and gun shooting. The colors might seem a little washed out, but that might be due to the Leeming LUT Pro and my inability to use it. Let me know what you think or if you have any experience using the Leeming LUT with this setup. Thanks!
