Kayak Overnight - Little Beaver Creek, OH 5-28-18
2 Day overnight on Little Beaver Creek, Columbiana County, OH. Designated a 'Wild & Scenic' Watertrail at both the State & Federal levels. Also, one of America's cleanest waterways.
About 20 miles from Elkton to Grimm's Bridge. Camping at Beaver Creek State Park Group Camps along Sprucevale Rd near Gretchen's Lock. Running @480-365cfs over two days. Showing a bit of near every mile. Video was made primarily for personal memories & sentimental value. Hope you enjoy.
Little Beaver Creek represents some of the most rugged and wildest land in Ohio. Forested to a width of over a mile in places, this stream is home of the endangered hellbender (large aquatic salamander) and retains its original aquatic community. From ridges topping over 200 feet, there are breathtaking views of the valley below.
Kayak Camping on the Lake!
Over labor day weekend my dad and I went on an overnight kayak camping trip at the lake. It was pretty fun, although I prefer Spring, Fall, and Winter camping over Summer camping. We did a bunch of fishing, hiking, and kayaking!

Bass Fishing at the Delta with MOBBIN Outdoors!
First time bass fishing with Marvin aka MOBBIN Outdoors and it definitely won't be my last time fishing with him because that guy is super chill! It's so easy to get along with him and the fact that he has such a positive vibe and strong sense of humor makes it impossible for anyone to hate him! If you hate Marvin, then you're just a weird ass mofo lol! The fishing was a grind, especially in the morning, but we all managed to catch some decent sized bass. I didn't think I was going to be able to get the 5 keeper limit but I just kept on casting and casting and eventually, I got rewarded!!! Sometimes, the effort pays off and sometimes it doesn't, that's how fishing goes! Go check out Marvin's channel right now and if you haven't subbed, you better do it ASAP or else.....LOL!

Thirty Years a Slave by Louis Hughes | Full Audiobook with subtitles
Louis Hughes was born a slave near Charlottesville, Virginia to a white father and a black slave woman. Throughout his life he worked mostly as a house servant, but was privy to the intimate details and workings of the entire McGee cotton plantation and empire. In Thirty Years A Slave Hughes provides vivid descriptions and explicit accounts of how the McGee plantation in Mississippi, and the McGee mansion in Tennessee functioned--accounts of the lives of the many slaves that lived, suffered and sometimes died under the cruel and unusual punishments meted out by Boss and his monstrously unstable and vindictive wife. He described the profane manner in which this peculiar institution dehumanized, on a daily basis, not only the black man but even more so the white man. Ultimately, Thirty Years A Slave is an expression of Hughes’s desire to accurately describe the nature of the influence that the institution of slavery had on this country during the two hundred years in which it existed here, and the influence it continues to have on the heart and soul of a post-Civil War, post-14th Amendment United States. (Introduction by James K. White)
