Pluses:
Good breakfast. Shuttle service to and from Disneyland was frequent and efficient.
The room was comfortable, but very old and ordinary - especially for the prices. The staff for the shuttles to Disney was amazing! Very accommodating.
The hotel was close to Disneyland, with free shuttle every 15 minutes. The hotel was spacious and clean. There was a wonderful pool to enjoy, as well as an inviting hotel lobby with a fireplace and business center. The food was outstanding, along with a comfortable bar area. Hotel staff were very accommodating and professional. The added plus was to view the Disneyland fireworks from the hotel front entrance. You cannot get any closer!!
Minuses:
Staff could have been much more pleasant... From the time we checked in to the time we checked out seemed as though the majority of the staff was simply going through the motions. Maybe I've been spoiled because most of our hotel stays have been through Marriott. They definitely need more customer service training.

The Residence Inn by Marriott is one of our top picks for Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool area is awesome and it has one of the best complimentary breakfasts in Anaheim. Even though it isn't the closest hotel to the park, the extra few minutes of walking time is worth it. In this video we give you a tour and an honest review of this hotel.
We should mention there are multiple Residence Inn hotels in the Anaheim area. This is the Anaheim Resort/Convention Centre location on West Katella Avenue and is about a 15 minute walk to the park.
