After arriving at Siem Reap Airport and buying my visa, I got my first tuk tuk ride to the hostel in town. The next day I met Bruno and we went on a bike ride to the Ankor Wat temples for sunset.

Sunrise At Angkor Wat Temple | Tourist Attraction in Siem Reap Cambodia
It's my first time to see sunrise at Angkor wat temple in Siem Reap province in Cambodia. We have to get up at 4am traveling to the temple. The road is not quiet as there are people, especially tourists going to see the Sunrise every morning. We got there at around 4:30am, the sky is still dark and not so many tourists yet. There are more and more tourists come and crowded at around 5:45am. I was there in front of Angkor Wat temple at a small pond on the right of the temple walk way. I thought that only these amount of people at the right pond but i walked to the left pond after that. OMG!!! tourists are crowded on the left pond. The sun was not rising well that morning as it's overcast but it was great to see lots of tourists coming. Bravo Cambodia!!! Bravo Angkor Wat temple!!
Thank you very much for watching. Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE this video to all Khmers and the world.
Your support is a huge encouragement for me as a Khmer to continue sharing the tourist attraction places in Cambodia to all Khmer and the World and bring more tourists to Cambodia.

HOT AIR BALLOON OVER TEMPLES IN CAMBODIA - VLOG 33 Adventure over Angkor Wat & Siem Reap (4k)
Join us as we embark on an incredible adventure in the skies over Siem Reap, Cambodia, floating in a hot air balloon over ancient temples at sunset!
We start the day off by watching the sun rise over Bayon Temple, then explore the main temple complex of Angkor Wat during the intense mid-day heat. The most epic part of the day comes after we ride a tuk-tuk through the city streets to a field where we embark on a hot air balloon adventure! We watch the crew inflate the balloons, then climb aboard to float through the sky during sunset, watching spectacular colors light the sky and the landscape below us. Flying in a hot air balloon over Angkor Wat is truly a once in a lifetime adventure!
Thank you to eOasia for making this adventure possible!

Cambodia Vlog: Sunrise & Sunset at Angkor Wat!
instagram.com/timandglo
November 8-9, 2014
We have a lot of footage from our first full day in Siem Reap - November 9, 2014 - so we decided to split it up into two videos. This first video feature sunrise at Angkor Wat and sunset at Phnom Bakheng.
To see what we did during the rest of Day 1, you can watching this vlog:
We arrived in Siem Reap the night of November 8, 2014. We applied for visas on arrival, which cost USD $30 each. It was a very quick, easy process. Be sure to bring one passport photo to submit as part of your visa application! If you forget to bring one, we heard you can have one taken at the airport for $2.50. By the way, we used US dollars throughout our entire trip. Be sure to take lots of bills in smaller denominations!
We woke up at 4:00 am the next day and took a tuk tuk from our guesthouse to buy our 3-day Angkor Wat passes then on to the entrance of the main Angkor Wat temple. A 3-day pass cost $40. The great thing about the pass is its flexibility. It's valid for seven days, and you can choose which three days during that seven-day period you'd like to use your pass.
We watched the sun rise from the south side of the temple. We didn't realize until after the sunrise that most tourists were crowded on the north side. We had a stunning sunrise view from the south side, so we don't think it's necessary or desirable to crowd in on the north side.
The sunset at Phnom Bakheng was beautiful. But if you're averse to big crowds, then you may want to give the sunset here a skip.
Thank you for watching!!
See you in four days for our next upload!

Sunset at Bakheng Temple near Angkor Wat in Siem Reap
I visited the Phnom Bakheng or Bakheng Temple on top of the Bakheng Hill to see the sunset at the end of my day tour of the Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm Temple and Bayon Temple within the Angkor Thom in Siem Reap. We arrived at the base of the hill just before 4pm and walked up the hill to the temple. There was a short queue of people waiting to go up to the top of the temple, because only 300 people are allowed up at a time. I managed to get to the top of the temple at 4:30pm and was lucky to be one of the last people allowed to get to the top of the temple.
I made my way to the western end of the temple, and found a spot where I had a clear view of the setting sun and a minimal number of trees in the way. I placed my action camera on top of an unstable fence pole and started recording just after 5:15pm. At that point, the sun was starting to turn orange. I kept my camera pointed at the sun and did my best to keep it from swaying.
Most people left when the sun turned red and disappeared behind the clouds. It was then time to head down and return to the hotel.
DON'T go to SUNRISE at ANGKOR WAT!
Location: Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia.
This morning we woke up at 4 a.m. to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. It was OK... To be completely honest, I think there are much better ways to spend your morning exploring the Angkor Temple complex.
Sunrise at Angkor Wat is OVERRUN by tourist. Yes, we did contribute to the problem, but that's beside the point. When we showed up to Angkor Wat at 5 a.m. there were already TONS of people there. We weren't even able to get a seat on the far side of the pond. By the time the sun was rising, there were over 2,000 people watching the sunrise with us. The crowds were almost more impressive than the sunrise.
Don't get me wrong, the sunrise over Angkor Wat is beautiful, but so is everything else at the Angkor Temple complex. I would suggest getting up super early one day an visiting other temples besides Angkor Wat at around 6 a.m.. You could have the amazing temples to yourself while everyone else is fighting at Angkor Wat to snap the best picture of the sunrise.

3 Days in Siem Reap, Cambodia! Sunrise, Sunsets & Temples!
instagram.com/timandglo
November 9-11, 2014
This video is an overview of the three packed but amazing days we spent in Siem Reap, Cambodia! We'll also upload separate vlogs for each of the three days.
For now here's our itinerary:
Day 1: Rented a tuk tuk and driver for the whole day, which cost $15. We were up early to buy our three-day passes then watch the sun rise at Angkor Wat. A three-day pass cost $40. The great thing about the pass is its flexibility. It's valid for seven days, and you can choose which three days during that seven-day period you'd like to use your pass.
We spent the rest of the day on the small circuit, which took us from Angkor Wat to Angkor Thom, which contains Bayon and Baphuon, then on to Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, and Phnom Bakheng. We watched the sunset at Phnom Bakheng, which has a capacity of 300 people. So be sure to get there with enough time to guarantee your entrance!
Day 2: We rented a car and driver for $60. We drove outside of Siem Reap for about an hour to get to Beng Mealea, which was one of our favorite temples. Afterward we drove to the floating village of Kampong Phluk in Tongle Sap Lake. The village charges a $20 per person admissions fee. Once we arrived at the village by motor boat, we transferred to a canoe for a lovely ride through the Mangrove Forest. We paid $10 per person for the canoe ride. We've heard that you can negotiate to pay about $5 per person. It can seem expensive, but we think seeing the Mangrove Forest - especially on a sunny day when the sunshine bounces off the water and tree bark - is a must. Lastly, we visited just two of the three Rolous Group temples, Lolei and Bakong. The view of the sunset from the rice fields next to Lolei was gorgeous!
Day 3: We again opted to hire a tuk tuk and driver for the day and visited most of the temples on Angkor Wat's big circuit: Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, and East Mebon. We ended our trip with an hour at the spa! We highly recommend Frangipani Spa!

Angkor Wat + other Temples, Siem Reap Cambodia
We started at Angkor before sunrise, tried a timelapse....... but unfortunately the clouds blocked the best part of sunrise. Also we needed a much bigger lens to zoom in further. All in all though it was a fabulous experience in an extremely beautiful place.
My last battery went flat while talking about Bayon Temple being my fave. For some reason they also would not let us film inside Bayon, only take pics. So at the end you can see some images of this awe inspiring place. It should be a bucket list item for sure if you have not yet had the chance to see these Temples for yourself.

Phnom Bakheng - sunset - Siem reap angkor - Cambodia travel
Phnom Bakheng (Khmer: ប្រាសាទភ្នំបាខែង) at Angkor, Cambodia, is a Hindu and Buddhist temple in the form of a temple mountain.[1] Dedicated to Shiva, it was built at the end of the 9th century, during the reign of King Yasovarman (889-910). Located atop a hill, it is nowadays a popular tourist spot for sunset views of the much bigger temple Angkor Wat, which lies amid the jungle about 1.5 km to the southeast. The large number of visitors makes Phnom Bakheng one of the most threatened monuments of Angkor.[2] Since 2004, World Monuments Fund has been working to conserve the temple in partnership with APSARA. more info visit:
