LARGO DI TORRE ARGENTINA (ROMA, ITALY)
LARGO DI TORRE ARGENTINA, Roma, Lazio, Italia.

Last spin down Via dei Fori Imperiali!
Via dei Fori Imperiali is the street that Mussolini paved through the Ancient Roman Forum in 1932 and was made famous by the iconic film 'Roman Holiday' decades later. I have scootered down this road nearly every day for the last 8 years and now the new mayor of Rome has decided to close it to traffic and make it a pedestrian area. So Friday at sunset I took one last fabulous spin on my Vespa all the way down with my Go Pro HERO 3 camera mounted on my helmet. Thanks to my Go Pro I was able to capture a historic moment in Rome!
The Ancient Roman Town of Herculaneum | Euromaxx Extratour
We visit the old town of Herculaneum near Naples. Herculaneum was destroyed by hot gas and rocks over 2000 years ago because of volcanic eruption, but the ruins are still standing and make for a very interesting trip.

Circus Maximus
Rome, Circus Maximus (II cent. AD).
The circus was a structure built to
host chariot races. At the center of the track there was a long wall (spina) which the chariots had to ride
around. The track was surrounded by grandstands divided into sectors for spectators, the imperial box
(pulvinar) and the magistrates’ balcony.
Roma, Circo Massimo (II sec. d.C.).
