We have reached our last destination in Costa Rica and spending the next couple of days in La Fortuna/El Castillo at the Arenal EcoZoo. We plan on showing you the serpentarium in the next couple of videos and heading out into the local area looking for wildlife.

We are spending the last couple of days in La Fortuna/El Castillo at the Arenal EcoZoo. Being that it is low season, we had the serpentarium to ourselves so it was the perfect opportunity for us to really take advantage of their free schedule and get deep into the facility and the animals it has on display. It is a long video but full of information about Costa Rican reptiles.

What an amazing opportunity to learn about the native snakes of Costa Rica in one place, from the people who have dedicated their lives to these animals.

DAngelo and michael alan love their pizza and if you make it to El Castillo, Costa Rica, about 40 minutes from La Fortuna (the Arenal Volcano area), you should stop in this little pizza/ice cream shop and say hey to Pizza John, who makes some great pizza, and don't get me started on the chocolate coconut ice cream. mmmmmm.... You're going to love it!

Butterfly Conservatory in El Castillo, Costa Rica
We took a little side trip to the Butterfly Conservatory which is located just outside of the town of La Fortuna in Costa Rica. It was absolutely magical to be surrounded by so many incredibly beautiful butterflies!
