AZ Outdoor Fun Trail Riding
Arizona Outdoor Fun guided tour in Black Canyon City, AZ
Took my fiance and friend for an awesome adventure. Did some atving and had a blast!
ATV's ridden include: Honda Rancher 420 automatic 4x4. It did have the option of semi-auto shifting as well. Mainly stayed in 2x4 unless we were climbing serious terrain.
This was the beginning of the trail head. The last person in our group decided to rent a Kawasaki Teryx 4. Pretty cool SxS.

Arizona Hot Springs in Black Canyon on the Colorado River
A group of us hiked up to the Arizona Hot Springs from the river while kayaking. The hike only took a few minutes and the terrain was fairly easy, other than the metal ladder (watch the video to see).
Arizona ATV Adventure Tour
We visited Arizona for a family vacation and on the last day of our trip we decided to give Arizona ATV Adventure Tours a shot. It was awesome!
We took a guided 3 hour tour through the desert over some pretty rough terrain. Luckily everyone in our group was good enough at driving that no one get seriously hurt. Next time I go to Arizona this is something I'll be doing again for sure!

Walnut Canyon National Monument - Flagstaff, AZ, must visit in Arizona
Walnut Canyon National Monument (Hopi: Wupatupqa) is a United States National Monument located about 10 mi (16 km) southeast of downtown Flagstaff, Arizona, near Interstate 40. The canyon rim elevation is 6,690 ft (2,040 m); the canyon's floor is 350 ft lower. A 0.9 mi (1.4 km) long loop trail descends 185 ft (56 m) into the canyon passing 25 cliff dwelling rooms constructed by the Sinagua, a pre-Columbian cultural group that lived in Walnut Canyon from about 1100 to 1250 CE. Hiking To The Arizona Hot Springs
Whether you are an avid hiker or just someone looking for a fun adventure for the day, this hike is a challenging hike with a big payoff. We found ourselves taking the 3 mile hike toward the Arizona Hot Springs on the perfect day in early January. While the rest of the country was being blasted by cold weather, mid 60s and light winds made for the perfect day.
We started our hike a bit later in the day than originally expected and so after melting into the amazing waters of the hot springs it made it a bit hard to leave for the trek back to the parking area. We ended up hiking back in the dark and while it was a bit more confusing this way, the stars at night were so amazing!

Legendary Road Trip from Las Vegas
00:00:18 to skip Intro
We reached Las Vegas in the late afternoon and spent some time at the Neon Museum (must-visit attraction). In the next morning we made our way to the Grand Canyon where we had spectacular views from the Skywalk. On the way back we stopped by at the Hoover Dam and then continued our journey to Las Vegas. In the evening we watch Michael Jackson: One by Cirque du Soleil at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. After a short night we left Las Vegas on the Extraterrestrial Highway, stopped at the Black Mailbox, drove until Area 51 (until the barricades) and had lunch at the alien-themed restaurant The Little A'Le'Inn. Leaving the Aliens behind, we drove through the desert until we reach our Accommodation at Death Valley. We went to the Badwater Basin, Zabriskie Point and Dante's View before driving to Palm Springs (California).
Accommodation: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas + The Inn at Death Valley

Background Information: Las Vegas, officially the City of Las Vegas and often known simply as Vegas, is the 28th-most populated city in the United States, the most populated city in the state of Nevada, and the county seat of Clark County. Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge with a glass walkway in Arizona near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West area of the main canyon. The United States Air Force facility commonly known as Area 51 is a highly classified remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base, within the Nevada Test and Training Range. The top-secret Area 51 government base is near SR 375, and many travelers have reported UFO observations and other strange alien activity along this road. Such stories prompted the state to officially designate the route as the Extraterrestrial Highway in 1996. The small town of Rachel, located near the midpoint of the highway, caters to tourists, geocachers, and UFO seekers with alien-themed businesses. Although the area receives some tourism due to alleged extraterrestrial activity, SR 375 remains a lightly traveled route. On a deserted stretch of road known as the “Extraterrestrial Highway” between Alamo and Rachel, Nevada, there is a lone mailbox with the names of two recipients. A larger box is labeled with the unassuming name of “Steve Medlin”; a smaller box is simply marked “Alien. Death Valley is a desert valley located in Eastern California, in the northern Mojave Desert bordering the Great Basin Desert. It is one of the hottest places in the world at the height of summertime along with deserts in the Middle East. Rachel is over 100 miles (160 km) north of Las Vegas in the Great Basin Desert, along Nevada Highway 375 (the Extraterrestrial Highway). The tiny town receives a substantial number of visitors and tourists, catered to by a small tourist shop, a 12-room motel, and an alien-themed restaurant and bar, the Little A'Le'Inn. Badwater Basin is an endorheic basin in Death Valley National Park, Death Valley, Inyo County, California, noted as the lowest point in North America, with a depth of 282 ft (86 m) below sea level.

Sedona-Jerome-Devils Bridge, Cathedral Rock, Fay Canyon Trails Sedona
#sedona #jeromearizona #devilsbridgesedona

This week we continue RVing to Sedona and Jerome staying at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood just outside of both Sedona and Jerome Arizona. We did a lot of hiking in Sedona at the Cathedral Rock Trail, Devils Bridge Trail and the Fay Canyon Trail. Hiking Cathedral Rock trail we had to stop before going all the way up on account of Nikki. So we then hiked around the Templeton Trail that went around Cathedral Rock. That was a nice easy hike and filled with awesome view of Cathedral Rock. Devils Bridge Trail was really fun as we got to drive closer to the trail head with the 4X4 capabilities of our truck. The Devils Bridge Trail was a little tougher in a couple places as we had to do a couple steep rock scrambles with Nikki, but she did awesome! We didn't actually get to go out on the Devils Bridge itself but we did make it to it and watched a few other people going on the bridge to take pics! After that we hiked the Fay Canyon Trail which was 1 mile out and 1 mile back and was an easy hike.
The following morning we did some exploring in Jerome Arizona which was only a few miles from our campsite at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. This was an old copper mining town built on the side of a mountain. It was really cool to see each street was on a different level. Jerome Arizona is one of the coolest old ghost towns we've seen so far and look forward to going back someday and spending more time there exploring.
Sedona Arizona winter was really beautiful with just some snow on the rocks, but much much more comfortable than the temps at the Grand Canyon. Made hiking just perfect!

ABOUT US
Welcome to Grand Adventure, a YouTube channel that focuses on RV-centric outdoor activities including not only of course camping, but also mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and more, nearly always filmed in stunning 4K.
We're based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and invite you to come along as we travel all around the western U.S. My wife Patricia and I, and our dogs Zoe and Maggie are avid boondockers, so you'll seldom find us in RV parks or even dry campgrounds. Instead, we're usually camped in some of the most remote and beautiful spots that you could ever pull a travel trailer into. And unlike most other RV channels on YouTube, we're not RV dealers or full-timers -- we're weekend warriors just like you!
We'll provide tips and insight on equipping and maintaining your RV, trip planning and travel videos to make your next adventure a grand one indeed! So, subscribe to make sure that you catch every episode, and remember...life is nothing but a Grand Adventure!

Grand Canyon | Helicopter Tour | Williams AZ | RV Living!
After visiting the Sedona area, we wanted to move closer to the Grand Canyon! Neither of us had been to the Grand Canyon before and it was one of the first things we put on our must-see list once we knew we were going to do this RV thing!
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Click Show More ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
For this leg of our journey, we decided to stay at Railside RV Ranch ( which, you guessed it, is right beside the railway line that runs from Williams to the Grand Canyon. Luckily, that railway is strictly a passenger line and doesn't run late at night like the one in Williamsburg!
Williams is a very cool little town right along historic Route 66. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and breweries and, of course, we frequented a bit of each.
The highlight of this location was obviously the grand canyon! We checked it out by truck, motorcycle, and HELICOPTER!
Since the day we started planning our adventures out west, we knew we wanted to take some kind of air tour of the Grand Canyon. Since our visit to the area happened to coincide with Tara's birthday, that seemed like the perfect time! I took a seaplane ride to the Dry Tortugas on my birthday, so fair is fair! ????
We picked Maverick Helicopter because that's just a really cool name (and they had great reviews)! ????
They are big helicopters, holding about 8 people each with great views in both the front and back seat. Luckily, we got a front seat! The tour takes off from Grand Canyon National Park Airport just inside the park on route 64. The first few minutes are fairly uneventful while flying over the forest. Forest...forest...forest... BAM!! The bottom of the world just drops out leaving us thousands of feet over the canyon! That was AMAZING! The entire flight, we were completely overwhelmed with spectacular views in every direction! There's just not much I can do to explain it in words. Good thing this is a video post! ????
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Williams and the Grand Canyon.
Next up in our travels, we have our first long term true boondocking stay on Lone Rock Beach in Utah! Stay tuned! ????

BEST ROAD TRIP: Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Zion, Horseshoe Bend | 4K
Road tripped to these incredible spots in one weekend! They are all amazing, but I cannot wait to get back to Zion National Park. This is easy to do in three days, but more time would allow more time at Zion and to see Bryce Canyon. Map of our route:
TOP TRAVEL TIPS:
*For the drive, we stayed one night at the North Rim West Cabins, then one night in Kanab, which has several hotel options.
GRAND CANYON NORTH RIM:
*Stay in the Western Cabins, they are worth it and are close to the Bright Angel Trail.
*There are far fewer view points to drive to on the North Rim than the South Rim, but give yourself time because they are very spread out.
HORSESHOE BEND:
*It was almost too hot here, and there is over 1 mile hiking.
*There's not too much to do here other than pictures.
ANTELOPE CANYON:
Go To: Navajonationparks.org to see every Antelope Canyon Tour
*There are several options for Antelope Canyon, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Antelope Canyon X Taadidiin Tours (Hiking Tour). It is the cheapest ($38) and they do not rush you. The experience was amazing! For online reservations (were not needed for us):
ZION NATIONAL PARK:
*Stay at the lodge- it makes it so you don't have to wait in the long bus line in the morning.
*I would stay for at least 3 nights. You wont want to leave.
*Angel's Landing is not that strenuous or difficult, or even extreme, or scary. It's all pretty over hyped, but the view from the top is incredible.
What we did:
