Roosevelt Dam and Roosevelt Bridge Tour - Things to do in Phoenix Arizona
Theodore Roosevelt Dam is a dam on the Salt River located northeast of Phoenix, Arizona. The dam is 357 feet high and forms Theodore Roosevelt Lake as it impounds the Salt River. Originally built between 1905 and 1911.
The Theodore Roosevelt Bridge is the longest two -lane, single-span, steel arch bridge in North America. The bridge spans 1,080 feet across Roosevelt Lake providing two-way traffic.
The bridge itself earned rare distinction when the bridge was named one of the top 12 bridges in the nation in November 1995.

Sedona is an expensive place to visit especially if you will stay in hotels and resorts, so I suggest you go camping leave Friday afternoon and camp overnight at one of their campgrounds as they have lots of them around the area.
Get breakfast at Red Rock Cafe they have wide variety of food then head to: 1. Cathedral Rock---as they have very limited parking lots.
2. Chapel of the Holy Cross--- discover the 1.3 mile trail beside it and some secret locations
3. Slide Rock State Park- Bring your swimsuit and trunks and make sure to check the weather as it can get really cold in the winter.
4. Montezuma Castle-- On the way back to Phoenix stop by at this place to check out this ancient abode structure as old as 1100-1350 A.D
