Until 1945 it was the cathedral of the Armenian Catholic Archdiocese of Lviv, since 2000 it serves as a cathedral of the Eparchy of Ukraine of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Church of Olha and Elizabeth Lviv
The Church of Sts. Olha and Elizabeth in Lviv, Ukraine is located between the city's main rail station and the Old Town. It was originally built as the Roman Catholic Church of St. Elizabeth and today serves as the Greek Catholic Church of Sts. Olha and Elizabeth.
The church was built by the Latin Archbishop of Lviv Saint Joseph Bilczewski in the years 1903-1911 as a parish church for the city's dynamically developing western suburb. It was designed by Polish architect Teodor Talowski,[1] in the neo-Gothic style, similar to that of the Votive Church in Vienna. St. Elisabeth's, placed on a hill which is the watershed of the Baltic and Black Sea, with its facade flanked by two tall towers and an 85 m belfry on the north side with imposing spires was envisioned as Lviv's first landmark to greet visitors arriving in the city by train.
In 1939 the church was damaged in a bombing raid but remained open until 1946. After the war, the building was used as warehouse[2] and fell further into ruin, until it was returned to faithful with the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 1991 a Ukrainian Greek Catholic was established and the church was reconsecrated as the Greek Catholic church of Sts. Olha and Elizabeth.

According to an old legend, on the site of Armenian Church, there was a garden. In this garden seeds of fruits brought from Armenia were planted. However, one queen apple tree grew fruits that were special—when cut in half they showed cross. One rich Lviv citizen, Armenian by nationality, Urko Ivashkovich took it as a sign from God. When a decision to build a church was made — people decided to give it the form of the cross similar to those on the cut fruits.

500th Anniversary of the Hachkatar Holy Mother of God Church of Suchava, Romania
On the day of the Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary, the Armenian community of Romania celebrated the 500th anniversary of establishment of the Suchava Hachkatari Monastery. On this occasion, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians paid a pastoral visit to the Armenian Diocese of Romania, to preside over the re-consecration of the Hachkatar Holy Mother of God Church of Suchava, and the 500th anniversary celebrations. I honor of the anniversary, on the eve of the Feast, an official stamp was issued in Yerevan for Armenian Monastery, Hachkatar 500th Anniversary. The nominal value of the issued 1000 copies of the stamp is 380dr.
Սուրբ Աստվածածնի Վերափոխման տոնի օրը Ռումինիայի հայ համայնքը նշում են Սուչավայի Հաճկատարի վանքի հիմնադրման 500-ամյակը: Այս առիթով Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը հովվապետական այցով մեկնել էր Ռումինիայի հայոց թեմ Սուչավայի Հաճկատար Սուրբ Աստվածածին վանքի վերաօծման արարողությունը եւ հիմնադրման 500-ամյակին նվիրված տոնակատարությունները հանդիսապետելու համար: Տոնի նախօրեին Երեւանում տեղի ունեցավ «Հայկական վանք, Հաճկատար 500-ամյակ» թեմայով նամականիշի մարման պաշտոնական արարողությունը: 1000 տպաքանակով լույս տեսած նամականիշի անվանական արժեքը 380 դրամ է:
