Стрічка(Strichka) - 23.05.2014 - Closer, Kiev
Strichka - is the independent music festival of collaboration in between Closer Club and Nastia + few more promo groups.
Closer is the best club in Ukraine, located in the old fabric around city center of Kiev. The first edition was on 23 of may 2014. It goes once in a year for Nastia's BD in may.
The festival has 3 small rooms (main room, experimental/techno room, disco room) + garden and terrace. It's underground event for 1500 people with ukrainian spirit.
Strichka means the ribbon. The whole concept made around Ukraine and it's nowadays electronic scene.

Exploring Ukraine's Underground Rave Revolution
The 2014 revolution brought Kiev nightlife to a complete standstill. As protests turned into riots, and government security forces opened fire on protestors, the country fell into crisis. But out of the ashes of revolution has risen a new generation. Slava Lepsheev, who’d lost his job because of the financial crisis triggered by the war, had had enough, and started Cxema, a raw, hard and hypnotic techno rave that he took to whatever semi-legal venue he could set a soundsystem up in. So together with Slava, and the city’s brightest young lights, we followed young Kiev as they prepared for a night at Cxema, from building the venue to watching the sunrise break.

As one of the local dancing schools, the Salsa Club offers free lessons in the open air for dancing fans.
