Ninh Binh Tam Coc -- Our FAVORITE Place in Vietnam! // Travelling Full Time
NINH BINH || TAM COC || TRANG AN || MUA CAVES || BAI DINH PAGODA || BOAT TOUR || BICH DONG PAGODA
This is the BEST place in Vietnam!
We arrived in the middle of the night after a long bus ride from Ha Long Bay (check out our Ha long Bay vlog if you haven't yet).
It was dark and quiet...we knew we were in a small farming village. We went to bed, and the next morning we woke up with views of the rice fields and the mountains surrounding us. It was January, so the rice fields were brown but it didn't take away from the beauty.
After breakfast, we grabbed a scooter and went to Mua Caves, Trang An Boat Tour, and Bai Dinh Pagoda. This was the highlight of our trip in Vietnam. All 3 of these places were incredible in their own way.
Although a day trip from Hanoi is do-able, we recommend staying for at least 2 nights to truly enjoy this place. It felt like we stepped back in time...we were in a fairy tale. We also recommend going to Bich Dong Pagoda if you have the time.
We stayed at Tam Coc Riverside Homestay, and had a wonderful time.

We paid about £30 per person for the 4 berth cabin but were upgraded free of charge to the 4 berth Laman Express service.
We really enjoyed he service and would highly recommend it.
Train #SE19 -
Laman Express is a newly opened service provider run by a longtime partner of 12Go. While we can never guarantee 100% that every trip will be perfect we do highly recommend Laman Express over the other private train service providers.
*Laman Express uses only brand new train cars, never the older recycled Vietnam Railways cars and also provides a light food and beverage service. Due to the close partnership between Laman and 12Go cabins are never oversold and you will never be placed in a regular Vietnam Railways car as can happen with Violette and Livitrans Express.
Laman Express operates luxury private train cars with 4-berth cabins (VIP Sleeper 4x) and 2-berth cabin (1st Class Sleeper) for Hanoi - Dong Hoi - Hue - Danang. One can expect to enjoy a cleaner, calmer and more comfortable trip.
Please go to the Laman desk at the Mango Hotel (immediately to the right of the main station entrance) ONE HOUR before departure for check-in procedure
Tickets for 1st Class Sleeper must be purchased for the whole cabin (2 berths) while the 4 berths in the VIP Sleeper 4x cabins may be purchased individually.

JAMES BOND ISLAND TOUR PHUKET
JAMES BOND ISLAND TOUR PHUKET
We wanted to take the James Bond Tour and found an amazing tour company called Vitamin Sea that was just amazing. We arrived at their office in the morning and had a saftey talk then we boarded their high speed boat to start our tour. The James Bond Tour started with Khai Island that was a beautiful little island. Being as beautiful as it was there were alot of tourist but that didn't hamper our experience. After spending around a half hour on the Khai Island we went a little ways offshore to snorkle in the crystal blue water. There were so many fish in the water and our guide even took our gopro to the bottom to get videos of a clownfish.
Our next stop was to Hong Island where the Vitamin Sea set up a canoe ride through a lovely bay before heading off to Panyee Island where we have a delicious buffet lunch.
After Lunch we headed to James Bond Island to see Ko Ta Pu which is the verticle limestone formation that made the it famous.
If you want to see the James Bond Island for yourself take my advise and take the James Bond Tour through Vitamin Sea.
If you have any questions or comments we read all messages and try to respond to any we receive.

Additional notes:
This video was from a recent Visa run to Vietnam, where I stayed in the capital city of Saigon for a few days. This was my first night of many and I was surprised at all the changes from my last Vietnam visit in 2017. The place is really booming!
The beer is insanely cheap at some bars, and a lot of the regular Vietnamese girls were very easy on the eye. Some people argue vigorously that the the Viet girls are the best lookers in all of South East Asia.
My plan was very simple for this night, eat some Pho noodles and then head to drink beer on Bui Vien street...
A word of warning about some of the regular bars on Bui Vien street. Trip advisor reviews are littered with incidents of bill padding, incorrect change being given and not honouring promo deals.
Be aware of this if you are drinking here and it's probably not a good idea to run up a big bar tab, but best to pay for each drink as they come to avoid potential problems (this problem doesn't affect the hostess bars).
In the hostess bars especially down the 'Crazy Girls' bar end of Bui Vien street, the ladies are available to be barfined (if they like you) but it's much more low key than other nearby countries.
This video ends at midnight, and a following part will be released soon...
Thank you for watching, and subscribe for more videos.
NB: Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City are the same city, the name was changed after the 70s. The locals all call it Saigon so that's what I call it here.

In my previous street food tour videos of Chengdu, China, we’ve brought you to hundreds of delicious street food locations. We’ve shot hundreds of Chinese street food tour videos. You’ve watched us eat CRAZY Chinese street food like GIANT LOBSTERS and HUGE KING CRABS, massive bowls of dan dan noodles and more, but today, we’re upgrading and going ALL OUT for a $300 per person splurge at Chengdu’s best restaurant; Yuzhilan, owned by the best Sichuan chef in China, mr Lan.
Chef Lan has been working his craft and cooking the best Szechuan cuisine in China for over 35 years, and today, he’s bringing us in to his home kitchen to see how he makes some very special dishes. He is sharing with us his philosophy of cooking and his deep love for Sichuan cuisine, sharing his personal story of learning how to cook Sichuan food and how he has traveled the world to study how to cook. After living in Japan for 2 years and studying in London, he has spend his life perfecting the art of Sichuan cuisine, using only the best local ingredients to bring out the natural flavour in everything he prepares.
As soon as we walked into his kitchen, Chef Lan showed us how he prepared his abalone. He explained to us the significance of Abalone in Hong Kong and Guangdong cuisine and how he has used 4 different styles of cooking abalone to bring into his own Sichuan style. It was amazing to watch the stock bubbling and the soft abalone simmering away.
After this, Chef lan showed us the AMAZING Kung Lao LOBSTER! A dish he is proud of and worked hard to master, the kung pao lobster was amazing to witness. It was spicy and sweet and served cold with a bowl of guaiweimian AKA cold “strange flavour” noodles.
As the lobster was being plated, Chef Lan brought us into his main noodle preparation area, where he uses a MASSIVE blade to hand cut the THINNEST noodles in the WORLD! This was so incredible to watch! Just like watching a taiqi master practice his moves, watching Chef Lan cut the noodles was an unforgettable experience! After he cut the noodles, Chef Lan showed us how each noodle could fit through the thread of a needle!
And then it was time to eat this AMAZING Sichuan food! Luxury Sichuan food at it’s finest! There were over 20+ items on the menu, all cooked in Sichuan style yet upgraded flavour wise because all the ingredients were so premium!
Chef Lan’s personal philosophy in cooking Sichuan food is to use the best ingredients and to allow them to do the talking and use the sauces only to lightly touch and improve the flavour. We could see that is true on his huge Sichuan food menu:
Some of the crazy LUXURY Sichuan foods we ate were: Hot Pot Chicken, chinese Matsutake mushrooms with chinese yam and soup, SUPERIOR Abalone, Hot and Sour DEEP Sea cucumber, Chinese bird’s nest soup, Yuxiang Style Eggplant and Yuxiang style eel, Sichuan dry style rabbit with Sichuan pepper and fermented soya bean, KUNG PAO Lobster, Sichuan Caviar, and more!! Make sure to enjoy this entire video until the end because there was SO MUCH INSANE LUXURY Sichuan food you’re going to love!

Vietnamese FIRST CLASS Sleeper Train! - Hanoi to Lào Cai
I caught many trains throughout my time in India, so I was interested in how the train system works in a different country! The overnight sleeper train with my parents was the perfect opportunity to showcase this First Class experience. The journey began from Hanoi at 10pm, arriving to Lào Cai at roughly 5am. It was a great experience and an efficient form of transportation when travelling Vietnam.
