After talking about the Cathedral (Cathode) of Nôtre-dame in my past Video , it's great loss, here' is another city i spain called Catalayud . but this time due to another cause . As i watch the video with you part 2 will come with perpahs more crispy details about Spain, an all its megalith and antiquitech;)

The city was founded on the site of a Celt-Iberian settlement by the Romans with the name Augusta Bilbilis and was the birthplace of the poet Martial in 40 CE.[6] The site of the ruins of Augusta Bilbilis are approximately four kilometers to the north of the modern city of Calatayud. The modern town was founded by the Moors around the Ayyub castle, circa 716 CE.

The name Calatayud came from the Arabic قلعة أيوب Qal‘at ’Ayyūb Ayyub's castle (Ayyub, a version of the Biblical name Job, is a fairly common Arabic given name). The ancient inhabitants of Bilbilis moved to the new site. Occupying a strategic placement between the central meseta of Spain and the Ebro valley the city retained its importance in succeeding centuries. By the eleventh century a substantial Jewish community was present, surviving the reconquista until the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492. Judaica texts from this era refer to Calatayud as kela Iyov. (קלע איוב, קלעה איוב, or קלעיה איוב[9] The city was conquered from the Muslims by Alfonso I of Aragón in 1119. Many surviving examples of mudéjar church architecture show that the Moorish influence lived on.
During the Peninsular Wars a notable siege of French-occupied Calatayud led to its capture by guerillas in 1811 . The city was the capital of its own province. in 1822–23, during the Trieno Liberal.

Augusta Golf Calatayud
El Campo de Golf de Augusta Golf Calatayud se caracteriza por ser un recorrido muy exigente, con varios hoyos cercanos a los 500 metros, con greenes pequeños, por ser un campo muy técnico con calles estrechas y golpes de gran precisión, y por sus dos lagos situados estratégicamente para que entren en juego en varios hoyos, con lo que el entrenamiento y el reto está presente en todos los golpes.
El recorrido está inmerso en una-urbanización y está orientado hacia la ciudad de Calatayud, entre montañas y con una belleza paisajística inmejorable, con el castillo de Ayud al fondo y las ruinas romanas de Bílbilis. El campo está homologado por la Real Federación Española de Golf para que se puedan celebrar todo tipo de eventos de Golf de carácter local y nacional.
