Semi Abandoned Town In Nevada Desert - Creepy Buildings, Abandoned Cars & More
Driving between Las Vegas and Reno Nevada on Hwy 95, you come across the strange little semi - abandoned town of Goldfield. I often wonder what people do for a living here because really, there is pretty much nothing around for miles. This spooky town is very close to the infamous and kinda creepy Area 51. Abandoned cars in the streets and yards, abandoned homes, storage containers out in the open, deserted buildings, closed businesses all boarded up...it just seems so weird when you come from a large city environment! We LOVE it though...it's so unique! Just one of the many crazy sights you'll come across exploring the Nevada desert...truly...there is nothing quite like it! ~Kenneth King Bear

Exploring Abandoned: Cemetery House
A new series I'm doing, exploring building, houses and everything in between that are just sitting there waiting to be explored. The first abandoned place is a house which is a stones throw away from a cemetery and was once owned by a manager of a roller rink.

Austin Cemeteries - Part 1 The Final Frontier
The Austin Cemetery was erected in 1863 when the silver boom town of Clifton and Austin grew in the thousands. This graveyard is divided into five sections that includes the Masonic, I.O.O.F., Catholic Calvary, Citizens and American Indian. Many of the interments found here were of Irish origin and were miners who braved this vast frontier deep in the heart of the Toiyabe Mountain Range of Nevada. Touring this cemetery tells a more in depth story about the people who lived here. Many of them died young due to accidents, epidemics such as diphtheria and even travesties such as flash floods in Pony Canyon. Some say this is one of the finest wild western cemeteries as many of the graves are masterpieces and fine pieces of craftsmanship. Between the dramatic views of the Reese River Valley expanse and Austin afar one can see why this burial ground on the hill is an ideal location to explore its history. Many of the pioneers buried here faced many trials and tribulations. Some led lives of great success while for others Austin was there final frontier!!

BELMONT MILL, NEVADA GHOST TOWN (VISIT 2) WURTH-IT TRAVEL ADVENTURES
This is my second visit to Belmont Mill ghost town. Don't mistake this for the other ghost town by the name of just Belmont. It's probably in one of the most remote parts of Nevada. A fairly smooth off road ride (Off highway 50 between Eureka and Ely, Nevada, until about the last two miles on the off the beaten path. It get's a bit rough at the end. Plan to walk everywhere once to the mill as it will require serious ATVs to access anywhere else in the area. I drove my 2014 Chevy Cruze back here my first time IN November 2014 (BRAND NEW CAR) with much regret. I feared I would not make it back out with my car but managed to stealthily make my way in with it. There were never a lot of buildings here to begin with, but what is left has fallen to ruins. People mostly lived in tents here back in the mining days. There is a group of people who make great efforts to keep the mill standing as far as replacing decaying wood in the structure, adding support, cables and whatever else it may take. If you decide to go back here, the ghost town and the land is owned by the United States Government. Unfortunately there are idiots that come back here and do destroy and vandalize this piece of American history. If humans never came back here this would be an immaculate place to visit. Enjoy the video! I am planning a 3rd visit in the future with an ATV to give you more views and insight on the area. Thanks for watching!

Time lapsed from Stokes Castle in Austin, Nevada heading into the remote high desert.
About 25 miles of driving from Austin, Nevada time lapsed to 3 minutes. Beautiful remote desert. Austin is about as remote as you can get.
Driving a McLaren - Circuit of the Americas Austin, TX
My three laps around Circuit of the Americas, top speed allowed was 120 on the backstretch. The Ferrari in front really slowed us up at times, on third lap we held back to get some running room.

Driving - Houston City Road - USA
Houston is the fourth most populous city in the nation, with an estimated 2017 population of 2,312,717 (trailing only New York, Los Angeles and Chicago), and is the largest in the southern U.S. and Texas. Houston is expected to become the third most populous U.S. city during the second half of the decade of the 2020s.
Houston is a large metropolis in Texas, extending to Galveston Bay. It’s closely linked with the Space Center Houston, the coastal visitor center at NASA’s astronaut training and flight control complex. The city’s relatively compact Downtown includes the Theater District, home to the renowned Houston Grand Opera, and the Historic District, with 19th-century architecture and upscale restaurants.
The Loneliest Road in America Highway 50 Nevada Adventure
Few places in the U.S. lower 48 states are as remote as the stretch of Highway 50 that runs through the Basin and Range of Nevada. The highway is so far off the beaten path, Life Magazine nemed it The Loneliest Road in America. Driving it west from the Utah state line, we really didn't see a lot of other vehicles. What we did see, however, was wonderful. We occasionally passed through old mining towns with names like White Pine, Eureka and Austin that had a mix of saloons, trinket shops, empty storefronts and mine tailings and abandoned mining equipment that hinted at their storied pasts. We camped in a dusty campsite that had natural hotsprings we could soak in just east of Austin. Exploring the area in our Subaru Outback -- you must have an off-road capable vehicle if you go off the highway -- we were astonished to drive 50 miles to Belmont, Nevada, only to find the designated ghost town was full of friendly and/or quirky people (mostly RVers and ATVers) preparing to celebrate the Fourth of July with a parade and other festivities on the town's unpaved main street. We also marveled at ancient, Native American petroglyphs, wild horses and mules, and the wide open sky, which is a stunner day and night. Larry Richardson created this video using a Sony FDR-AX53 camcorder for 4k video and Apple iPhone 7 for HD video. The video was edited on a Mac Book Pro using Apple Final Cut Pro X software.
