We are making the documentary The Nepean and day by day you get to see how we are making it.
This documentary will trace to path of the Nepean River in New South Wales (NSW) from it source in the Southern Highlands to its end at the merger of the Grose & Hawkesbury Rives. You will see 180 meandering kilometres of beautiful landscapes, its history and experience the trials and tribulations of the river as it delivers its vital water to the people, flora & fauna of the region.

This dam was started in 1902 and finished in 1907. It is part of the Upper Nepean River Scheme, New South Wales, Australia. You'll see the large amount let out to feed constantly down the river. The dam is located high on the Illawarra Escarpment.

Cordeaux Dam - A Mammoth of a Construction
Located 94 kms south of Sydney. It is one of the four dams located in the Illawarra region. The dam wall which is 57 metres high stretches for an impressive 405 metres and the lake formed covers a massive 7.8 square kilometres. To me it is the pinnacle of human engineering and innovation.
A must visit for anyone who gives a damn about a dam.. ???? ????

The Avon Dam on South Dartmoor was constructed in 1957, damming the River Avon high up on the moor. I first came here as a kid in the eighties, so it's nice to come here now with my ten year old daughter.
