The National WWII Museum New Orleans: World War 2 Exhibits, Planes, & 4-D Beyond All Boundaries Film.
The National WWII Museum, located in New Orleans, is an incredible experience for anyone even remotely interested in this turning point in world history. The museum campus is very large, currently consisting of five main buildings, with plans to expand and add three more buildings in the near future. The WWII Museum features some amazing exhibits and experiences, covering every aspect of WWII, both at home and abroad. While we were there, we experienced the 4-D film, Beyond All Boundaries, a 50-minute show that is narrated by actor Tom Hanks. This show is incredible in the way it tells the story of WW 2, using light, sound, vibrating/shaking seats, and moving stage pieces to grab your attention and add realism to what you are seeing on the huge screen. You can spend a full day here if you take the time to look at, and interact with, all the exhibits and watch all the short movie clips you'll see as you explore the buildings. If you're planning on taking a trip to New Orleans, make coming to The National WWII Museum one of your must-do's!
