Elswick, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, 1972
These pictures were taken in Elswick, in the West end of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England in 1972, where the photographer was living at the time. I believe most of the slums depicted in the pictures were demolished shortly afterwards and no longer exist. The music is We Gotta Get Out Of This Place by the Animals, who were from Newcastle. The photographer and his fiancee did get outta this place, left England, and never went back.

UFO ON BBC NEWS IN NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
Me and my friend some time last year seen this same light one night as we where walking across the Tyne bridge. What was strange about it is all the police and a police helicopter that was searching around the river as if someone fell into it. that's when me and my friend noticed that there was a white light that just looked like a star was actually following the police helicopter then we seen this exact same light that you can see on the BBC news literally 2 minutes after the a star that seems follow the chopper??
