The Alaskan Town FULL of Bald Eagles
A bald eagle is an exciting, rare sighting for most Americans. But on this Alaskan island, our national symbol is as common as a beachside seagull. You can find them everywhere—lurking above the post office, inspecting the trash, waiting patiently for the local fishing boats to return with the day’s catch, even hanging out in front of the town church. In Unalaska, Alaska, everyone has an eagle story.

Visiting Chugach National Forest, National Forest in Moose Pass, Alaska, United States
The Chugach National Forest is a 6,908,540-acre (27,958 km2)[2] United States National Forest in south central Alaska. Covering portions of Prince William Sound, the Kenai Peninsula and the Copper River Delta, it was formed in 1907 from part of a larger forest reserve. The Chugach includes extensive shorelines, glaciers, forests and rivers, much of which is untouched by roads or trails. It hosts numerous bird, mammal and marine species, including extensive shorebird habitat and a bald eagle population larger than the continental 48 states combined. Human industry in the forest includes extensive tourism and some mining and oil and gas operations. For more info, visit this link:

Visiting Alaska? See Dall Sheep just south of Anchorage on the Seward Highway. Sunscreen Spray Follow the shoreline of Turnagain Arm, part of the Cook Inlet, to Windy Point. Dall sheep can often be spotted on the hillside cliffs. Dall sheep are similar to mountain goats; all white, with horns that curve on the sides of their head. SUMMARY
=======
Kentucky ( (listen) kən-TUK-ee), officially the Commonwealth of Kentucky, is a state located in the east south-central region of the United States. Although styled as the State of Kentucky in the law creating it, Kentucky is one of four U.S. states constituted as a commonwealth (the others being Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts). Originally a part of Virginia, in 1792 Kentucky became the 15th state to join the Union. Kentucky is the 37th most extensive and the 26th most populous of the 50 United States.
Kentucky is known as the Bluegrass State, a nickname based on the bluegrass found in many of its pastures due to the fertile soil. One of the major regions in Kentucky is the Bluegrass Region in central Kentucky, which houses two of its major cities, Louisville and Lexington. It is a land with diverse environments and abundant resources, including the world's longest cave system, Mammoth Cave National Park, the greatest length of navigable waterways and streams in the contiguous United States, and the two largest man-made lakes east of the Mississippi River.
Kentucky is also known for horse racing, bourbon distilleries, moonshine, coal, the My Old Kentucky Home historic national park, automobile manufacturing, tobacco, bluegrass music, college basketball, and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Bald Eagles in Issaquah [ HD ]
Filmed bald eagles in Issaquah, Washington USA. I saw two bald eagles perched on a cell tower and filmed them. The cell tower does not show any indications of use as a nest and appears that this was a temporary visit to Issaquah for the two birds. Note that this video is enhanced to show a view of Tiger Mountain which can be seen from Issaquah but not filmed from the same location as the eagles. This video is my tribute to our magnificent national bird.
