Spread over 20,000 square meter bali bird park houses more than 5000 birds from more than 200 species. There are birds from all over the world. This park is also breeding ground for many birds including endangered bali Myna.
Beautiful tropical birds in Bali Bird Park (Taman Burung Bali) near Ubud (Bali Indonesia)
It's an expensive park ($ 30 USD per person) but well worth the money. (The ticket also gives access to the Reptile Park). Bali Bird Park (Taman Burung Bali), a tourist attraction in Bali, was built on a site were originally rice fields where. The park is located in Singapuda, near Ubud. There are nearly 1.000 birds fly around (250 species) some in a large aviary where you can walk around. There is also a huge Komodo Dragon. There are birds from Bali, Lombok but also from the rest of Indonesia, Africa, Australia and America. Many birds are rare or threatened, and some species are bred here. Besides birds the area has more than 300 exotic flowers and plants.

Why Bali?
Being a part of Indonesia, it's a beautiful place to visit.....But before you decide to travel, you need to make an intinary of things you would like to do...4 nights is perfect for Bali...I would say 3 nights to tour the place and 1 night to rest and relax and recuperate....many travel for weeks together but i would suggest doing the Gilis which would I would be featuring in my next video release...It's a clean place and well organised....
Where to stay?
Hotel Options
1. Nunia Villa: We stayed for a few days at a villa called the Nunia Villa..It's a beautiful villa with all the amenities located centrally in Seminyak. Did our booking via booking.com as they have the best deals.

2. Ramada Bali Sunset Road - Kuta: We stayed at this economical and well priced hotel which was value for money and is also centrally located in Kuta. Did our booking via booking.com as they have the best deals.

Thus to summarise, staying around Seminyak and kuta are the best options since they are located well within the proximity of all the happening areas in Bali.
What else can you do?
1. Jimbaran Beach - A must to visit beach for a sun-downer dinner...The Denpasar Airport Runway can be seen from this spot and is an awesome view on a clear sky
2. Kuta Nightlife - Lots of options around in Kuta as you stroll by taking a walk...Pubs, Restaurants and the likes
3. Seminyak Street for shopping - Seminyak has a lot of shops for street and window shopping however I would suggest Ubud as it's much cheaper
4. Tanahlot Temple - A scening temple with a beautiful view
5. Ubud - Ubud too has a street for shopping. It's a scenic street and has a lot of quaint restaurants to eat authentic balinese food. You can also visit the rice terraces while there
6. Bali Bird Park - This place amazed us with the amount and variety of birds that they were left free to wander around the park. It's a well organised park and a must to do..
7. Mt. Batur - We did the trek to Mt.Batur through an organised trekking company which does trips to Mt.Batur. They picked us up at 3AM and took us to the point where we started our 3hour trek to the summit point which is 1700mtrs above sea level. Please Note: You need to be fit to do this trek or else you will have a lot of challenges while going up as the terrain is not all that easy, however if you would like to, you can always go half way and get a view of the beautiful sunset which a scene you cannot miss. On reaching the summit point, you are served with a hot cup of coffee and some bananas to keep you warm. Please carry warm clothing as the temperature drops considerably with strong winds.

8. Bebek Bengil - If you are a carnivore, this is a must to have. I'll keep it a surprise as to what you might be eating....
How did we get around?
There are a lot of bike rental companies and its the best mode of transport to move around...its very cheap and safe to ride...the rental company keeps a copy of your passport and lets you take the bike. Bike rental companies vary from some which give you insurance and are a bit pricey to others that don't but if you are a good rider and think you won't total your bike, you can save that buck...Use offline google maps and you're good to go...Taxis are also available and for that you can use the bluebird taxi app..however, with the amount of traffic in Bali, you might get stuck and waste a lot of time travelling

Backpacking through Indonesia, Bali, Ubud and our trip to Bird Park in September 2011.
Bali Bird Park is located at stone carving village (Batubulan village) and opened in October 1995. There are more than 1.000 birds of over 250 different species.
Bali Bird Park is divided into regions that recreate the natural habitats of its birds, complete with indigenous plant life.
We enjoyed this park, the birds were well taken care of and there were so many more than we expected.

Park ptaków otwarty został w Październiku 1995 i znajduje się we wsi rzeźbiarzy kamieni (Batubulan village). Żyje tam ponad 1000 ptaków z ponad 250 gatunków.
Park podzielony jest na rejony, które to zostały odtworzone zgodnie z naturalnymi siedliskami ptaków, wraz z rodzinnymi roślinami.
Park nam sie bardzo podobał, ptaki były dobrze zadbane i było ich znacznie więcej niż się spodziewaliśmy.

Bali Bird Park | Ubud | Place to Visit in Bali | Things to do
Bali Bird Park is one of the most visited places in Bali where you can meet with more than 1000 birds, 250 species and a great day at same area located in Ubud. These birds are imported from all around the world US, UK, Africa, Austrila etc. This list includes one of expensive and rare birds.
There are alot of bird shows which keep entertaining you. Suggest you to visit early as possible so you can see all shows. Trust me these shows are beautiful.
Per person ticket cost you around 1500 Rs(approx better to confirm).
