25 Things to do in Barcelona, Spain | Top Attractions Travel Guide Video Transcript:
This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. As always, if you have any suggestions of things to do around town, feel free to add them in the comments below. And if you want to catch our latest travel videos, don't forget to hit subscribe!

So today I’m talking about pickpocketing in Barcelona. We actually witnessed it happening in a market place called La Boqueria. Check out this video clip and see if you notice it.
Okay, let’s slow it down a little bit. So here we’ve got a group of girls, and you can see they’ve just bought some smoothies, they’re having a lovely time, completely absorbed in what they’re doing.
One of the girls puts her purse back into her bag and then just slings her bag behind her. Now you see the guy to the left of the girl. He’s spotted her put her purse in her bag and thinks that she’s an easy target. He moves his coat over to his left-hand shoulder, which is closest to the girls, so no one would really know what was going on under his coat; he’s completely concealed his hand movements.
He’s looking at the bag, as he gets closer and closer to the girl, working out how he’s going to open it and how he’s going to help himself to the purse. As he gets to the girls, he stops. And at this point, we can’t even see what he’s doing. The girls clearly have no idea and this is probably when he’s got his hand in her bag, or at least trying to open it.
It looks like it doesn’t quite work and as he moves off, the bag comes with him where he’s tried to take something but the girl notices it and fortunately, nothing gets taken. The guy pretends nothing’s happened and moves off, pretending that his jacket just caught the bag and that’s all there was to it.
This girl was fortunate, but we caught this on camera purely by chance, so that goes to show just how rife it is.
However, I really don’t want you to think that, for this reason, you should be worried about travelling in Barcelona. There are some really easy steps that we’re outlining in another video, that you can follow, just to make sure you keep yourself safe and you have easy peace of mind.

Spain: FC Barcelona fans watch Messi & co train following holiday break
More than 10,000 FC Barcelona fans turned up to watch their team's players train at the Mini Stadium in Barcelona, Tuesday, as part of the annual 'Open Doors' training event.
Barca favourites Leo Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar and Andres Iniesta could all be seen on the pitch, just two days ahead of the first leg of the second round of the Copa del Rey (Soccer King Cup).
The players visited the city's eight main hospitals following the training session as part of the 'Dream as a Gift' campaign, a part of the football club's foundation.
SOT, Mireia Bastic, FC Barcelona fan (German): We came because, although we live in Germany, we have been total fans of FC Barcelona our whole lives.
SOT, Javi, Alejandro, Javi and Sonia Rodriguez (Spanish): It's a special day. It's the holidays and having the possibility of seeing the Barca players up close and that the children are with them, the truth is that it's a very nice day.
