Best 5 Top Tourist Attractions in Burlington, United States
Vermont's largest city - and only city of any size - lies in a beautiful location on a hillside overlooking Lake Champlain and the skyline of the Adirondack mountains, on the opposite shore in New York. The thriving downtown reaches right to the shore, but its main shopping district is a few streets above on Church Street. There is almost always something happening in this broad, car-free space lined by shops and restaurants. Crowning the hill is the stately campus of the University of Vermont, which gives Burlington a young, hip vibe.
Let's see five tourist attractions in Burlington, Vermont
1. Shelburne Museum
2. Cruises on Lake Champlain
3. Church Street Marketplace
4. ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center
5. Robert Hull Fleming Museum of Art

RV Travel Life | Mesa Verde National Park & Toy Hauler Nearly Wrecks In Front of Us!
Happy Earth Day!!
We visited Mesa Verde National Park! We had no idea that the parks were offering free entry to their park but it was a wonderful surprise. This was a really great way to spend Earth Day, hiking in the national park. Mesa Verde features cliff dwellings dating back to A.D. 500. Since most of the dwellings were pretty far out, we decided to take still photos to show most of the dwellings.
On the way to Mesa Verde we came across a property off of US 160 (to the north). The owner of the property (Wild Wild Rest), Ray McCarty has placed signs all over the property indicating that it is polluted and toxic due to oil contamination. He claims that Sinclair Oil left behind the underground and above ground fuel storage which leaked, and when they came back to monitor, they drilled holes down to the water table, contaminating the water table as well. We found it to be interesting to say the least.
Shortly before coming across that site, we were almost involved in a collision between a gentleman towing his Toy Hauler much faster than the posted speed, and he nearly had a collision with oncoming traffic right in front of us. We were concerned because we likely would have been in that wreck as well given his close proximity and swerving. I wish we caught it on video but at least we got pictures.
It was a long and crazy travel day, but Mesa Verde the next day made up for all of it.

Peter Wolf Toth Trail of the Whispering Giants
Peter Toth created 74 Whispering Giants all are in all 50 states 1 in Canada, and even one in Hungary. Interesting fact is that they all resemble natives of the region that they are located in. The basic tools he used to create these were a hammer and chisel...and on occasion he used a mallet and an axe. He rarely ever used power tools to create these beautiful pieces of art. I hope everyone will be able to find them and let me know more about them with either photos or through a video.

ABOUT THIS FEED:
Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada, in the Canadian Rockies, is located on the Canadian Pacific Railway (CP), where their Shuswap Sub meets their Mountain Sub. The Shuswap Sub runs to the west to Kamloops, BC (towards Vancouver, BC), and the Mountain Sub runs to the east to Field, BC, through Rogers Pass.
The CP traverses the Canadian Rockies over 2 passes. Rogers Pass, which is to the immediate east of Revelstoke, and further east, Kicking Horse Pass, which is to the immediate east of Field. Rogers Pass is at 4,360 feet (1,330 meters), and Kicking Horse Pass is at 5,339 feet (1,627 meters). To the west of Revelstoke is the lower Eagle Pass, at 1,804 feet (550 meters).
Among the freight trains seen here are unit potash, unit grain, and unit coal. Loaded westbounds feature both mid-train and end-of-train DPU’s, and empty eastbounds have fewer engines, both on front and as DPU’s. Many but not all eastbounds will stop to enter the yard, which is located to the east of the museum and cameras. Also seen are manifests, intermodal, and combined intermodal/manifest..
On occasion, the gates will activate, but will soon after deactivate, with no train, which is due to the switcher in the yard proceeding far forward enough to enter the crossing's track circuit.
There are no VIA Rail passenger trains through Revelstoke, however, during part of the year the Rocky Mountaineer can be seen.
There are 2 ATCS layouts, one for each sub, but there is no server coverage. No radio feeds are available.
There’s no schedule for freight trains, but some of our more knowledgeable members will provide real-time information when it’s available. Please refrain from asking.
