Possibly the most popular beach in eastern Asturias, La Franca beach has it all.
It’s a large golden sandy beach with a small river running along the left of the strand.
The beach is dotted with lovely rock formations and at low tide you can access the neighboring beaches of Regolgueru to the left and Del Oso to the right but do keep a watchful eye on the tide or you find you have a bit of a trek to get back to your car.

La Franca, situada en la zona oriente de Asturias, es una playa de arenas blancas, rodeada de acantilados con bosques de eucaliptos. Sus aguas son azules y muy cristalinas, y cuando hay marea alta, esta se convierte en una pequeña cala, es famosa por las cuevas que permiten el paso a otras calas cercanas. En mar abierto, se puede apreciar el Castro.

The Off-Sonar free surprise party in the station saw Luciano and Andrea Oliva DJing to a bemused public and a few thousand Cadenza fans, who turned up to dance in the station having heard about the secret party through social media. The station was actually open to the public for its usual services as the party took place, leading to an incredible atmosphere.
