We had the place all to ourselves, except for the mosquitoes, spiders, poison ivy, snakes, a few partridge, and a rabbit.
None were a problem but BE PREPARED if you go.
Navigational skills advised, Some trails are pretty well maintained, others have lots of brush to push in places, and some trails are fully grown in. We only saw the most sought places, there is much more to discover.

Coast Guard Ice Breaker- April 3, 2013
The Beaver Island ferry normally starts running the first part of April and sometimes the ice is to thick for it to make the first run. When this happens the Coast Guard will send in an ice breaker to break the ice. That is what this video is about.

Students Experience Lake Charlevoix
For over 20 years, Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council has partnered with the Lake Charlevoix Association and the Beaver Island Boat Company to provide a unique hands-on educational opportunity for middle school students to learn more about the Lake Charlvoix Watershed and how they can protect it for future generations.
Eight learning stations aboard the Beaver Islander ferry teach children about how a watershed works, invasive species, groundwater, benethic ecosystems, water chemistry, water quality monitoring, and water recreation safety.

And Elizabeth Cramer takes the Washington Island Ferry to visit Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm.

A Child of The Sea. 1905. Arriving in 1848, Strang, by 1850, had some authority and protection at the Federal level or he could not do with impunity the acts the Strangites committed against non Mormons. As in Illinois and Missouri, etc a Pattern emerges: J. Smith and Strang use exactly the same techniques and with same results; people become offended and defended themselves. Smith and Strang have similar intentions: To establish authority over many states from a secure base of supreme authority outside The Law. I don't the address the following in the video but:: I believe there is a Secret Tow Line between powerful Freemasons whose authority at high levels of the government provide protection to the Mormon objective. If any other organized peoples conducted themselves like this the response at the State and Federal level would be almost immediate
