GoPro x San Diego Bike & Kayak x La Jolla Ecological Reserve and Marine Life
San Diego, California. La Jolla Ecological Reserve.
I'm a lead tour guide/photog with SDBK and this is a complication of video I shot this past season, and a clip or two from last season, working on the water everyday. A quick look at the three different ecosystems that we have in our La Jolla Ecological Reserve and the wild life you have the chance to see if you come visit us, also venture into a cave where in a big bull sea lion lazily blocks the exit. In the video, there are leopard sharks, sting rays, bat rays, butterfly rays, shovelnose guitarfish, corabina, garibaldi, perch, kelp bass, opaleye, sargo, and come out to see more!
Shot entirely with a Gopro HD Hero 960, and Gopro HD Hero2 on a diy pole mount

Kayaking with Sea Lions in La Jolla, CA - Adventure Guru
I lived in SD for about 7 years and this is my favorite thing to do! For just a $20 kayak rental, ample sunscreen, and a little exercise you can enjoy clear water, bright orange Garibaldis (CA's state fish), Lemon Shark, Pelicans, and tons of sea lions. My favorite time to go is in late Spring when you're sure to see a ton of baby sea lions learning the ropes.
Find your kayak rental in La Jolla Shores on Avenida De La Playa. Make sure your company has kayaks at the beach already, so you don't have to worry about lugging it to and fro. You can also opt to join a guided tour which provides you with plenty of local information about the sea life in the area, and allows you to enter the tiny sea caves (tide and surf conditions permitting).
ADA: While I haven't seen this cove featuring an ADA Optimized system, San Diego is improving access to water with motorized beach wheelchairs in Coronado, kayaking, and other programs through The Adaptive Sports and Recreation Program of San Diego, The Challenged Athletes Foundation, The Junior Seau Foundation Adaptive Surf Program (for kids) and The Stoke for Life Foundation.

4K City Walks: Boiling River Hot Springs - Yellowstone Park -Virtual Walk Walking Treadmill Video
In 4K City Walks: Boiling River Hot Springs - Yellowstone Park -Virtual Walk Walking Treadmill Video we take you down to the Northern option for yellowstone Entrances, the Gardiner entrance, and we walk out to the bathing area known as the “boiling river”. It’s a windy cold day with about a one mile walk return trip. The boiling river is the area around where the super heated water that does not emerge at Mammoth hot springs yellowstone, flows out of the rock and into the Gardner river. Every year, people pile rocks up to capture the hot water and keep the cold river water out, well mostly. This leaves several areas where visitors can sit and bath in the hot water. It can be tricky to find the magic spot where you aren’t getting scalded AND you aren’t freezing. Every spring, runoff closes the river and washes away much fo the rocks forming the pools. There is no alcohol allowed, nor nudity or crude behavior. They are open from 7 a.m to 6 p.m and park rangers do check. There are two parking lots and a pit toilet. No parking is allowed along the road nearby and the springs do get crowded. We highly recommend going early or late and during the weekdays.
It can be a real treat to sit in the river in january while the snow flies and bison or elk graze nearby. Eagles fly over and other animals may visit. This thermal area can get quite hot as some natural hot springs can. Also see other walk around Yellowstone mammoth hot springs at dawn.

The Gardner River (also known as the Gardiner River) is a tributary of the Yellowstone River, approximately 25 miles (40 km) long, in northwestern Wyoming and south central Montana in the United States. The entire river is located within Yellowstone National Park. It rises on the slope of Joseph Peak, Gallatin Range in the northwestern part of the park, and winds southeast through Gardner's Hole, a broad subalpine basin which is a popular trout fishing location. Angling on the Gardner is governed by Yellowstone National Park fishing regulations. After merging with Panther Creek, Indian Creek and Obsidian Creek, it then turns north and flows through a steep canyon where it cuts through a basaltic flow from approximately 500,000 years ago known as Sheepeater Cliffs. Below Sheepeater, Glen Creek out of Golden Gate Canyon and Lava Creek out of Lava Creek Canyon join the Gardner near Mammoth Hot Springs. The river crosses the 45th parallel in Gardner Canyon and is also home to a popular hot spring known as The Boiling River. The river continues north through Gardner Canyon and empties into the Yellowstone near Gardiner, Montana.
History
The river and the town of Gardiner were named for Johnson Gardner who was a free trapper in the early 19th century. In the 1830s, he worked northwestern Yellowstone and sold his furs to the American Fur Company. On September 13, 1869 the Cook–Folsom–Peterson Expedition entered the park region and crossed the river at its mouth on their way up the Yellowstone. On August 26, 1870 the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition entered what was to become the northern boundary of Yellowstone National Park at Gardiner and camped near the confluence before they crossed the river and proceeded south up the Yellowstone river. Both these expeditions did not explore the Gardner and thus did not encounter the geothermal features of Mammoth Hot Springs. The 1871 Geological Survey of the park region by F. V. Hayden did explore the Gardner and describe Mammoth Hot Springs, but the Mammoth area itself was named by an illegal concessionaire Harry R. Hohr who tried to claim land in early 1871 in the newly explored park region.
The lower few miles of the river is paralleled by the North Entrance Road Historic District.

ST AUGUSTINE, FL WATERFRONT HOME FOR SALE
Imagine a 3/4 acre parcel with 108 feet on sparkling blue navigable water at the south end of a protected harbor within an easy stroll to the St Augustine Lighthouse and a bike ride to the State Park and beach. Consider your boat, your kayaks and canoes at the end of a dock so well designed that even the dock builder was impressed. Add to the mix a circa 1950s house built to suit the local climate and improved over the years to create an open environment oriented to the water. A later addition created a second floor guest suite with a full kitchen open to the living room, a large bedroom and bath and two porches facing east and west respectively. The swimming pool suits the period and has provided countless hours of enjoyment for several generations. If you're a fan of the era, you'll be excited at putting your personal stamp on the house. If you're looking for a casual waterfront property where shoes and flip flops are left in a pile at the door because your passion is really all about sailing, fishing, motorboating, collecting shells and surfing, then gather up your family and friends and enjoy summer almost all year long. If you love the location but have a different vision, camp out while you contemplate the creation of a new home suited to your style. The location at the southern end of Lew Boulevard and Salt Run offers downright beautiful water views to the east, north and south with the ocean on the other side of the State Park. So many activities and amenities within a stone's throw, the laid back flavor of the neighborhood on the edge of Lighthouse Park is an antidote to stress and worry. Priced aggressively by today's market standards, this is a piece of waterfront paradise to be sure. An excellent value for $799,000. Listed by Irene Arriola of Saltwater Property Group. 904.669.0691 for more details
Along the Blackstone Episode 12: Mill Life
Were the mill owners of the Blackstone Valley the harsh, penny-pinching ogres we associate with a Charles Dickens novel or were they benevolent father-figures who genuinely cared about the welfare of their workers? The truth probably lies somewhere in between. As the industrial age swept across America, the impact on the workers and their communities were profound.Along the Blackstone Episode #12 - Mill Life will take a look at the Rumford Chemical Company, Village of Rumford, East Providence, RI and the Draper Manufacturing Co. of Hopedale, MA as we examine workers and mill owners.Professor Scott Molloy, labor historian at the University of Rhode Island, will put everything into perspective for us

We're setting sail in my FIRST EVER (proper) Disney Cruise Vlog! JP, Craig and I are setting sail aboard Disney Cruise Line's Disney Dream ship. We're staying in a Deluxe Verandah Room which we'll happily tour you around throughout this mini vlog series. Our cruise is four nights long, departing from Port Canaveral in Florida, first port of call is Nassau, Bahamas, followed by a day at Disney's private island Castaway Cay, finishing with a day at sea and returning to port canaveral. Our room was located on deck 10, towards the back of the ship and we were in the second seating at dinner.
In today's Day 3 vlog, we make port at Disney's private island Castaway Cay! The island which is exclusive for Disney Cruise Line travellers, features family and adult entertainment, water sports, cycle trails, a look out, a beach BBQ, white sand beaches and beautfully clear water.
We make our way onto the island early in an attempt to enjoy what we can before the rain sets in. We chill out at Serenity Bay (the adult beach) for a good few hours before renting bikes and taking them out on the island.
After our time on the island and when the rain sets in, we make our way back to the ship to unwind in the afternoon and take a splash in the pool; including riding the Aquaduck water roller coaster.
In the evening it's pirate night! We enjoy a pirate themed show up on the pool deck and get to enjoy a pirate themed meal at the Enchanted Garden restaurant.
Throughout the vlog I'll be sharing some of my Disney Cruise Line vacation tips and little known facts of the Disney Cruise Line.
