USA Trip 2017!!! Part 1 - New York, Los Angeles, Universal Studios
In August 2017 my family and I went on a trip to USA! We were mainly there for the solar eclipse, but we decided to visit some places along the way. This is the first of two parts, where we go to New York and Los Angeles. I wanted to upload this as one long video, but it turns out that one of the songs in the next video is copyrighted. So I decided to split this into two parts, post one today, and then edit out the song and post part 2 next month. This was such an amazing trip and I'm really happy with how this video turned out. Enjoy!
Music:

Irvine, California
Irvine (/ˈɜrvaɪn/ UR-vyn) is an affluent suburban city in Orange County, California, United States. It is a planned city, mainly developed by the Irvine Company since the 1960s. Formally incorporated on December 28, 1971, the 66 square miles (170 km2) city has a population of 212,375 as of the 2010 census; the California Department of Finance estimates its 2013 population to be 223,729. It has annexed in the past an undeveloped area to the north, and has also annexed the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, most of which is planned to be converted into the Orange County Great Park. The city's mission statement is to create and maintain a community where people can live, work, and play in an environment that is safe, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing.
Because Irvine is home to very good public schools, a large number of jobs requiring a skilled workforce, and residential housing, Irvine was chosen in 2008 by CNNMoney.com as the fourth best place to live in the United States. In 2012, it was ranked in sixth place. In September 2011, Businessweek listed Irvine as the 5th best city in the US. In June 2010, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported that Irvine had the lowest violent crime rate among cities in the United States with populations of more than 100,000, and in August 2008 the Census Bureau ranked Irvine as having the seventh highest median income among cities in the United States with populations of more than 65,000. In 2014, Irvine was named the best-run city in the U.S. by 24/7 Wall Street. Although Mercedes-Benz USA is headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, the company selected Irvine for the second Mercedes-Benz Classic Center (and the only one outside of Germany), which opened in June 2006.

As you may have noticed, we like to blow stuff up on this channel. So when the International Red Cross approached us to collaborate on a video about nuclear weapons, we were more than excited.
Until we did the research. It turned out we were a bit oblivious off the real impact of nuclear weapons in the real world, on a real city. And especially, how helpless even the most developed nations on earth would be if an attack occurred today.
So hopefully this video demonstrates how extremely non fun a real world nuclear attack would be, without being too gruesome. This collaboration was a blast (no pun intended) and we want to say a huge thank you to the International Red Cross!

Preserving America's Landscape Legacy
This video examines the importance of preserving the integrity of America's historic landscapes. Beginning with the role of landscape in film, the video uses landscapes familiar to most Americans to foster an understanding of how landscapes grow and change, but must still be preserved.

Pacific Coast Highway, California, United States - Best Travel Destination
The Pacific Coast Highway (also called PCH) is one of America's most famous highways (probably second to Route 66). Stretching from the southern tip of Baja California to the top of the Olympic peninsula, the highway is 500 miles long. A two week drive from San Diego to the Redwood National Forest in Northern California is a great trip.

How Tugboat Works
A tugboat (tug) is a boat that maneuvers vessels by pushing or towing them. Tugs move vessels that either should not move themselves, such as ships in a crowded harbor or a narrow canal, or those that cannot move by themselves, such as barges, disabled ships, log rafts, or oil platforms. Tugboats are powerful for their size and strongly built, and some are ocean-going. Some tugboats serve as icebreakers or salvage boats. Early tugboats had steam engines, but today most have diesel engines. Many tugboats have firefighting monitors, allowing them to assist in firefighting, especially in harbors.
