Is an annual event in the western United States at Black Rock City – a temporary city erected in the Black Rock Desert of northwest Nevada, approximately 100 miles (160 km) north-northeast of Reno.
Awesome event is described as an experiment in community and art, influenced by 10 main principles: radical inclusion, self-reliance, and self-expression, as well as community cooperation, civic responsibility, gifting, decommodification, participation, immediacy, and leaving no trace. The event takes its name from its culmination, the symbolic ritual burning of a large wooden effigy (the Man) that traditionally occurs on the Saturday evening of the event.

Burning Man Black Rock City 2013 from the sky
Fly Geyser - Black Rock Desert - Nevada / U.S.A.
Located on a gated parcel of private property within the million-acre Black Rock Desert, Fly Geyser is not a natural phenomenon. It was created accidentally in 1964 from a geothermal test well inadequately capped. The scalding water has erupted from the well since then, leaving calcium carbonate deposits growing at the rate of several inches per year. The brilliant red and green coloring on the mounds is from thermophilic algae thriving in the extreme micro-climate of the geysers. Unfortunately, Fly Geyser is not open to the public.

In search of hot springs where native americans and settlers visited, we headed out and then crossed the Black Rock desert. We did find the springs, and they were extremely hot but wonderful. Just take a bucket of this pure hot water and pour it over your head.
What Happens At BURNING MAN!?
So we went to Burning Man 2015! We drove an RV from Vancouver with a group of friends and stayed and lived in it for a week in the middle of the desert. It's really hard to describe the event as anything short of an alternate universe. Enjoy these snippets of our adventures!

Episode 1 takes place in Black Rock City, Nevada. Spaceship Excellent crash landed into the desert on planet Earth. Space travelers crawled free from the debri in their new human suits. They eagerly sought the leader of this solar system. Instead, the found a city full of dust and glow sticks, full of impossible inventions. Apprehensions clouded their consciousness as they anticipated their first interactions with the inhabitants of this strange world. Would the humans discover their alien origins? Would the humans reject their offerings and wage war on their galaxy? Find out in the first episode of Spaceship Excellent!
ABOUT SPACESHIP EXCELLENT
The musical Spacemen are on a mission to explore the galaxy of the United States in search of the leader of the solar system. They travel in a spaceship bus, a mobile laboratory used for inspecting foreign towns and inhabitants. The viewpoints they collect become raw material for their live shows, where their experience becomes one with their audience. The mission will culminate in the nations capital on Election Day, when the new leader will be named.
This is a tour of cosmic proportions that is soon to become the worlds first ever Interactive Rockumentary. Each venue and person they meet on the way will set the stage for this cultural phenomenon, and they want you to be a part of it. ALL ABOARD.

First held in 1986 on Baker Beach in San Francisco as a small function organized by Larry Harvey and a group of friends, it has since been held annually, spanning from the last Sunday in August to the first Monday in September (the U.S. Labor Day); for example, Burning Man 2016 was held between August 28 and September 5, 2016.
At Burning Man the community explores various forms of artistic self-expression, created in celebration for the pleasure of all participants. Participation is a key precept for the community – selfless giving of one's unique talents for the enjoyment of all is encouraged and actively reinforced. Some of these generous out-pourings of creativity can include experimental and interactive sculpture, building, performance, and art cars among other mediums, often inspired by the yearly theme, chosen by organizers. The event takes its name from its culmination, the symbolic ritual burning of a large wooden effigy (the Man) that traditionally occurs on the Saturday evening of the event.[2][3][4][5]
Burning Man is organized by the Burning Man Project, a non-profit organization that, in 2014, succeeded a for-profit limited liability company (Black Rock City, LLC) that was formed in 1997 to represent the event's organizers, and is now considered a subsidiary of the non-profit organization. In 2010, 51,515 people attended Burning Man.[6] Attendance in 2011 was capped at 50,000 participants and the event sold out on July 24;[7] the attendance rose to 70,000 in 2015.[1] Smaller regional events inspired by the principles of Burning Man have been held internationally; some of these events are also officially endorsed by the Burning Man Project as regional branches of the event.

Colorful Fly GEYSER – the most picturesque place in Black Rock Desert, Nevada
You have, probably, already seen the image of an alien looking Fly Geyser, which has an orange-green base and several sources, from which the water is shoots in different direction.
The unusual color of this geyser comes from the thermophilic algae on the calcium carbonate deposit base. Fun fact: this alien looking colorful tourism destination is actually the result of the mistake by the geothermal power company.
In 1964 after the drilling and the attempt to find sources of geothermal energy was not successful, so the project was called off and all the holes were patched. But one of the has damaged a geothermal pocket, which caused the formation of such natural wonder, which is now known, as Fly Geyser. It should be stated that this geyser is located on a private property and is not always available for tourists.
