Three pet elephants in Thailand
Blue Daily Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary
Our day spent at Blue Daily Elephant Sanctuary was one of the most amazing experiences. We spent the entire day with a 1 month old elephant, Meena, and her Mother. The other elephants were away for 3 days on their journey to their birthplace, which they do once every three years I think as a Thailand custom. The sanctuary treated the elephants very well. They are not chained and Meena was only contained since she's so small (and a trouble maker). The elephants from neighboring sanctuaries come to spend the night in the open field every night.
Our day consisted of:
--Playing with Meena
--Making elephant rice balls and feeding Mom (Meena doesn't eat for a couple more years)
--Going on a jungle walk
--Bathing in a river
--Saying goodbye
The sanctuary was in a beautiful location around 2 hours from Chiang Mai. I loved this day so much!

Elephant Green Hill Project - Chiang Mai- Thailand Vlog # 72
Eure Anni

Thailand - ELEPHANT SANCTUARY - Don't Ride the Elephants!
Going for an elephant ride in Thailand sounds like the perfect way to show off what a world traveler you are on Instagram, right? WRONG. This practice actually promotes animal cruelty via a horrific training method known as phajaan, or “elephant crushing.” This technique involves negative reinforcement conditioning of baby elephants, including separating them from their mothers, restricting them in cages, and corporal punishment.
There are over 4,000 elephants in Thailand, half of which are domesticated. Thanks to a booming tourism industry in Thailand, many businesses have created elephant farms that promote elephant riding and other questionable practices. If you are planning a trip to Thailand soon and have elephant sight-seeing on your bucket list, be sure to do your research ahead of time and avoid unethical businesses that offer elephant rides. Instead, stick to elephant sanctuaries – like Blue Daily Elephant Care in Chiang Mai – which offer plenty of space for the elephants to roam freely and be cared for in an ethical manner. Thanks for watching! If you’ve been to Thailand before, please share some of your favorite memories in the comments down below!

MUST do in CHIANG MAI - BMP Elephant Care Project | Two Wander Yonder Vlog
B.M.P Farmhouse is an Elephant Care Project an hour north of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Lucky enough to spend a weekend playing with amazing Elephants, and white water rafting. After seeing Lost LeBlanc's Black Tusk, I was worried that I might see some disturbing images, but what I saw was a Elephant sanctuary for rescue Elephants and a team of experienced Mahout's. I didn't see a chain in sight, or any weapon that might have been used to control the Elephants.
If you are looking for something to do in Chiang Mai, then I highly recommend visiting the B.M.P Farmhouse. Its a place for all ages, and if you can stay the night! Get there soon as Peanut (the baby) wont be small for long! ;)

Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary HD 1080p
Full day trip to Blue Daily Elephant Care in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This was very much one of the best days of my life, where we were able to play with a 1 month old baby elephant named Meena :-).
The sanctuary appeared to treat the elephants very well, which was one of my main concerns when visiting a sanctuary. At night, they had elephants from other sanctuaries spend the night in their big open area. There were no chains or any form of harmful actions taken towards the elephants. The area was absolutely beautiful as well. And how often do you get to interact with a baby elephant?
