The Port of Barcelona (in Catalan Port of Barcelona ) is a seaport Spanish, located in the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula along the Mediterranean Sea, wedged between the new mouth of the Llobregat river and the neighborhood of La Barceloneta in the city of Barcelona. It is managed by the Port Authority of Barcelona, belonging to the State Ports.
The Port of Barcelona can be divided into: the commercial port (mainly containerized cargo), the citizen port (cruise ships, ferries, leisure areas, the Port Vell), power port and port logistics. Each of these activities has its own space and segregated from each other, with facilities and expert personnel. As for the transport of persons, it is the largest port in the Mediterranean in cruise traffic and the fourth in the world only behind the Caribbean ports.
Allure of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship takes cruises in the Mediterranean, having the Port of Barcelona as home port. The port of Barcelona was born while the city of Barcelona as a natural port on a beach that was between a small peninsula formed the mountain Montjuic and the old mouth of the Llobregat river.
Over the centuries, the city and its port were gaining importance, to become the maritime capital of the kings of Aragon. Despite that the port remained south of the mountain of Montjuic until in the year 1378. With the successive enlargements of the port, and the accumulation of sand, the island has been joined to the mainland forming the land where today sits the neighborhood of Barceloneta.
The international marine terminal A is located in the Moll Adossat port and used as a cruise ship terminal. Access to the terminal is done by Porta d'Europa bridge. The international marine terminal B is located in the Moll Adossat port and used as a cruise ship terminal. Access to the terminal is done by Porta d'Europa bridge. The international marine terminal C is located in the Moll Adossat port and used as a cruise ship terminal. It is the smallest terminal harbor cruises. Access to the terminal is done by Porta d'Europa bridge. The international marine terminal D is located in the Moll Adossat port and used as a cruise ship terminal. It is the terminal of the largest cruise port. Access to the terminal is done by Porta d'Europa bridge. The E terminal is the seventh international cruise terminal port. It has an area of ten thousand square meters and its capacity is four passenger operations in 1500 turnaround.
Terminal Catalunya Hutchison opened in 2012 is the most important port terminal and one of the largest in the Mediterranean in terms of semi-automation of operations. Construction of the terminal is divided into two phases: the first and most important is operational and the second is planned.
The oldest part of the port is open to the potato Barcelona, so it is very easy access to public transport. Line 3 of the Barcelona metro, at Drassanes direct access to the terminal area of the ferries, and bus lines 59, 14, 91, 57, 157 also allow access to the port. La Rambla in its extemal communicate with the sea port city in the Portal de la Pau, place where stands the Columbus Monument. It also offers shuttle bus service for cruise ships, and direct access to the Ronda Litoral (B-10) for access by car.
An attractive way to view the port as a whole and from the heights is the Barcelona air shuttle, which crosses through the air from San Sebastian Tower in La Barceloneta, through the Jaime I Tower next to the World Trade Center, communicating the port to Montjuic mountain.
The port has grown many times heading south, passing the old port of Barceloneta, by the marina in front of the old shipyard, occupying a large industrial area, the Zona Franca. When most of the current port works completed, the port will have five new integrated terminals in a redeveloped space and a quay for the large cruise ships.
The coastline Barcelona has evolved a lot over the years. The costs of Poble Sec, as a natural harbor was used as a port city by Iberians and Romans commonly used until the tenth century and sporadically up the fourteenth century.

MANGO Spring/Summer 2014 fashion show
MANGO revealed the key trends for the Spring/Summer 2014 season during its fashion show held on the 27th January 2014. The emblematic setting El Mercat del Born in Barcelona brought national and international celebrities together for one night.
Alessandra Ambrosio was given the task of opening the catwalk, which was chaired by Jonathan Andic, Vice-Chairman of the company. The Brazilian model, together with Ireland Basinger Baldwin and Sylvie Meis, among others, added an international touch to an event that was attended by over 800 persons.
44 women's and 18 men's outfits revealed the new trends of the forthcoming season. MANGO presented designs in which a quest for the sport essence and trend revealed a decidedly 90s influence. The minimal concept was the leitmotiv of the collection, in which neutral tones and total white outfits were abundant. The variety of materials such as poplin and neoprene, as well as a combination of textures, added force to designs featuring straight cut silhouettes, crop tops and high-waistband trousers.
For its part, the men's collection revealed young and urban lines of the classic marine style. Breaking with the traditional tastes, fabrics with army or micro tie prints were presented. Natural colours and more intense tones such as indigo blue and rorange epitomised the tonal diversity of the collection for the summer season.
As a first for this edition, models from the new Violeta by MANGO collection were also presented. The different cut, adapted to curvy female forms, represented the essence of a line created for today's style. Minimalist designs with clean and neutral silhouettes revealed the recent MANGO line.
Similarly, the MANGO Kids line was also present with looks in accordance with the minimalist inspiration of the fashion show. Simple garments with renewed lines, featuring white as the predominant colour.
Famous models from catwalks around the world, such as Irina Nikolaeva, Erjona Alla, Lieke Van, Baptiste Radu, River Viiperi, Clement Chabernaud, Arthur Gosse and Luuk Van Os, presented the different collection outfits. The most international models also included the Spanish models Andrés Velencoso, Jon Kortajarena and Dalianah Arekion.

Visit Spain Travel Guide | Best things to do in Spain Transcript:
So hey guys, this week we are in Costa Brava, Spain and we're going to be taking you on a bit of a food adventure. Can't wait to eat and travel.
So it is a beautiful day out. We have blue skies and I think that calls for a sailing trip.
Hi! Good morning. Ready to go sailing?
ola y bienvenidos a Madrid. This week we are in the Spanish capital and we are going to show you twenty five of the best things to do in the city.
We were beyond excited to come and visit Madrid, after all this is a city renowned for its arts, cuisine, and nightlife.
With 10 days to spare, we decided to hit up some of the best sights and attractions and film a guide highlighting 25 things to do in Madrid.
In this video you can expect everything from lively markets and world renowned museums, to beautiful gardens and Spanish dishes.
Now let's find out what the Spanish capital is all about!
This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
Barcelona! After a few days in the Spanish capital, we headed over to Catalunya to see what this popular seaside city has to offer. We ended up discovering an eclectic mix of funky architecture, distinct neighbourhoods, and stretches of golden beaches. It was vibrant, it was stylish, and it was addicting. Here's a look at what we got up to during our visit to this world class city:
It wouldn't be a proper visit to Barcelona without going to the beach at least once, so first things first, we headed down to Barceloneta Beach, which is popular with locals and travelers who don't want to trek out too far in search of waves and sandy shores. The sun was out, the water was inviting, and the beach was packed.
So today is July 23rd. Which means it is my birthday! So Sam and I are going to take a little day trip. We've been staying in Madrid but Toledo is only thirty minutes away by train. So we're going to head out and have some birthday adventures in a new city.

Costa Brava Travel Guide for Food Lovers (Cadaqués, La Vall de Bianya, Pyrenees & Girona) in Spain
Join us as we showcase the Costa Brava region of Spain in this travel guide for food lovers as part of #EuroFoodTrip.
We started off our journey spending the night in Cadaqués waking up the following morning to go on a sailing trip along the Cap de Creus Natural Park on a traditional boat. We had the opportunity to bask in the sun and eat plenty of local seafood including Fideuà (noodles with seafood) and mussels with Bizcochos Borrachos (drunken Spanish sponge cake) for dessert. In the afternoon we visited La Vinyeta Cellar vineyard to harvest grapes by hand and then crush them with our feet. Afterwards we enjoyed a wine tasting paired with cheese. That evening we did a cooking workshop and a gin and tonic workshop and tasting with Gin Nut staying overnight at La Vall de Bianya.
The following morning had us waking up before the crack of dawn to go on a hot air balloon ride over la Garrotxa where we had a fantastic view of the Pyrenees mountain range. We then transferred to Girona where we had lunch at Celler de Can Roca considered to be the 2nd best restaurant in the world. After relaxing for a bit we took a guided city tour of Girona exploring its wonderful architecture, sampling some gelato and picking out Game of Thrones locations. Our final meal on this trip featured traditional Catalan food at Can Xifra restaurant where I got to drink wine out of a porró and had the best rum and raisin ice cream I've ever tasted in my whole life.

Costa Brava Travel Guide for Food Lovers (Cadaqués, La Vall de Bianya, Pyrenees & Girona) in Spain Travel Food Video Transcript:
So hey guys, this week we are in Costa Brava, Spain and we're going to be taking you on a bit of a food adventure. Can't wait to eat and travel.
So it is a beautiful day out. We have blue skies and I think that calls for a sailing trip.
So lunch is served and we are having Fideuà on the boat so have a look here. This is a seafood dish and it is made with pasta that is cooked in fish juice and we've also got some prawns.
So next up we're at La Vinyeta and this is a winery and a vineyard so we're going to be drinking some wine and doing a little tour.
So Sam has found a new career here in Costa Brava picking grapes
So I'm going to be stomping some grapes this afternoon in order to do so I need my traditional Catalan hat, Catalan scarf. Now I'm ready to do this and we're going barefoot.
So Sam tell us what are you about to drink? I'm trying the grapes that you stepped on. With my bare feet.
Well, I can't think of a better way to finish off this vineyard tour than with wine, cheese and cold cuts
So tonight we are spending the night in a place called la Ferreria and this hotel is like traveling back in time.
We're taking a hot air balloon ride and it should be amazing. Like this is something we've never done and we really want to try it out. Yeah, so we're going to be flying over the Pyrenees mountains and it should be spectacular. Let's go.
So this afternoon we're doing a bit of a taste test at el Celler de Can Roca and this is the second highest rated restaurant in the whole world. It should be delicious.
So next up we're going to start the appetizer and this is going to take us a journey around the world.
And there is the world.
So this afternoon we're going to do a walking tour of Girona and it looks beautiful. It looks really colorful but first up we need to get ice cream.
Okay, so we finally got our ice cream and apparently there is some kind of Game of Thrones reference here. It is called Ma Daurada and that means the golden hand.
So this bridge was built by Monsieur Eiffel himself before the Eiffel Tower ever came to be.
So that is a wrap from beautiful Costa Brava. I have to say we ate like Kings and Queens while we were here. Yeah, and we got a nice taste of the region in terms of all of the travel activities and things you can do as well. Definitely somewhere we'd like to come back and explore more in-depth. Yeah, so we hope you enjoyed this video and if you have any questions about travel in Costa Brava, Spain just leave them in the comments below. See you next time.
