Bristolville, Ohio tour 44402 (676,532 out of 1,000,000 views)
Bristolville is an unincorporated community in central Bristol Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 44402.[1] It lies at the intersection of State Routes 45 and 88. The community is part of the Youngstown–Warren–Boardman, OH-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Bristolville was founded in 1807, and named after Bristol, Connecticut, the native home of a first settler.
Northern Ohio had settlers mostly from the Northeast, many of whom supported abolition of slavery before the Civil War. One of the notable natives of Bristolville is John Henrie Kagi, who fought with John Brown in Bleeding Kansas before its admission to the Union. He was second in command during Brown's Harper's Ferry raid on the federal arsenal, where he was killed by state militia at the age of 24
Kagi's sister Barbara Kagy Mayhew and her husband Allen Mayhew, also Bristolville natives, migrated to Nebraska City, Nebraska in the early 1850s. With Kagi's help, they created a cave under their cabin to shelter fugitive slaves on their way to freedom in Canada. Their 1855 cabin has been restored as the Mayhew Cabin museum, and is the only site in Nebraska recognized by the National Park Service as a station on the Underground Railroad.
Hiking The Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Come along with me for a day in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Take a hike down to Brandywine Falls and around the loop at Stanford Trail. A quick stop at Boston Mills Ski Resort also makes its way in. Make sure you come back for part 2 to walk the Ledges Trail and see an awesome sunset over the cliffs!
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a United States national park that preserves and reclaims the rural landscape along the Cuyahoga River between Akron and Cleveland in Northeast Ohio.

Buttermilk Falls - Cuyahoga Valley | Morning Hike
Got up a bit early to make our way to Buttermilk falls. So we headed over to the entrance of the Blue Hen Falls trail because this leads to the trail that takes you to Buttermilk Falls. I previously didn't know about Buttermilk until I was looking at the map for Blue Hen. The Buttermilk trail is a bit more of a hike so be ready for some off road conditions. :) Both of these falls are part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Sorry about the issues with the video in the middle, my camera settings were off.

NASA’s $3.5 Billion Idea To Save Earth From A Supervolcano Apocalypse
Yellowstone National Park sits atop a massive supervolcano that’s considered one of the greatest volcano threats in the county. While experts estimate that a super-eruption might not happen for another few million years, NASA scientists performed a thought experiment to determine how we could prevent Yellowstone from ever erupting again. Their hypothetical idea involves cooling the volcano down by pumping cold water into a series of wells around its perimeter. If implemented, the scenario could potentially save Earth from a super-volcano apocalypse.
