BOGUE INLET FISHING PIER, EMERALD ISLE, NC, OCTOBER 2019
I try to make it to Emerald Isle for some pier fishing each year. This year I went in October but the temperature was too high for quality fishing. Large quantities of spots were being caught during the middle of the night but I don't keep those kinds of hours. So, in lieu of fishing, we did our share of touring the area and enjoying the fresh local seafood.

End of the Season - Emerald Isle North Carolina Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier - Nov. 28, 2014
The last weekend of the season for the Bogue Inlet Pier. It closes Nov 30th and reopens to the public the weekend of March 14th 2015. Very few people on the pier or fishing saw nothing caught. A full panoramic view of Emerald Isle beach and the Pier from the Observation tower. The weather was sunny in the low 40's. It opens back up Spring time during the Saint Patrick's Day Weekend Festival at Emerald Isle, March 2015.

End of the Season for the Emerald Isle Bogue Inlet Pier. This was the last day open for the public Sunday Dec 1st, very few people on the pier or fishing saw nothing caught. A full panoramic view of Emerald Isle beach and the Pier from the Observation tower. The weather was sunny in the low 50's. A walk out on the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier and up to the overlook, late afternoon at Emerald Isle North Carolina. People were catching Pompanos, Bluefish, Sea Mullets, Spanish Mackerel and some Spots. This pier will close for the Season on Nov 30th.

Memorial Day Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier Emerald Isle, NC - May 27, 2013
The season is picking up, lots of people fishing Memorial Day and actually catching some. Saw lots of Blue Fish being caught with Jigs off the end of the pier and a few Sea Mullets with shrimp as bait. They said they were catching Spanish Mackerel in the early morning. Beautiful Memorial Day at Emerald Isle Beach, North Carolina.

Fishing Albacore Caught off Emerald Isle Bogue Inlet Pier Sept 2, 2012
Fisherman from Danville Va. hooked and caught a 6 lb. 4 oz. Albacore Tuna off the end of the Emerald Isle Bogue Inlet Pier. A net was dropped down to bring the fish up, looked like a slow fishing day this reeling in and catch caused some excitement on the Pier!
