Independence, Texas General Store near Brenham and Blue Bell Icecream
Time lapse of General Store. Nice little town. Not far from Blue Bell Ice Cream factory and Brenham. Has lots of restored or original buildings from the cotton era. Very nice plant nursery called Antique Rose Emporium. The general store has anything you need just like an old general store including bulk nails and a dog sleeping in store. Tables in the back to eat whatever you might buy there. It is not easy taking a time lapse video in a town where time has nicely stopped.

Rosenberg Fall Fest 9/20/14-Part 1 (w/ Galveston Museum Special)
On Saturday, September 20, 2014, the Galveston, TX Railroad Museum sent their ATSF Warbonnet F7's to the Rosenberg Railroad Museum to practice their evacuation plan. The Rosenberg Museum had a Fall Fun Fest to celebrate the arrival.
I went to Rosenberg to railfan, and man I had the luckiest railfanning day yet! I got to meet Shawn (TheACman42), Steven (Texas Railfan), Carson Wetsel (aka Rosenberg Railfan), and Chris (UPRR11).
Train #1: The Warbonnet special arrives in Rosenberg at noon.

Galveston TX Railroad Museum 10/1/2016 - feat. Amtrak Exhibit Train!
For the Galveston Railroad Days 2016, the Amtrak Exhibit Train made a special appearance, which is unimaginably rare for Houston! And I had been looking forward to this ever since it was first announced for maybe half ago! On top of that, they brought the Patrick Henry cars, some BNSF executive cars, and a BNSF Tier 4 GEVO to the museum! I definitely had a great time looking around these cars and diesels! The next day, the special cars and F-units made a special excursion, and I caught it in Rosenberg:
0:00 - Two switchers in Harrisburg / Manchester.
CEFX GP20D #2020
PTRA MP1500D #9621
0:37 - Exploring around the Galveston yard, including an old NS SD60, some hard-to-see rusty passenger cars, and local switchers!

2:51 - Looking around the special cars and diesels at the museum! My favorite was probably the Amtrak F40PH replica, as I've wanted to see a Phase III F40 all my life! Note that these pictures aren't in chronological order.
