St. Joseph residents arrested in meth conspiracy case
Seven St. Joseph residents were part of a group of 10 people indicted on federal drug charges Wednesday. Their indictments were unsealed Thursday after a series of local arrests, including a home in the 800 block of S. 19th Street.

the most expensive narcotic going out right now would be a fentanyl patch depending on the miligram, anywhere from 50, 80, 120 per patch but the main pill that I see being the main problem has got its own subculture here is the dilaudid hydromorphone which an 8 milligram pill of dilaudid will go for 30 dollars a piece here in st. joe.
BUT CLOSING A DRUG CASE IS NOT AS EASY TO DO WHEN THE DRUGS COME WITH A PRESCRIPTION.
they're legal to possess - where as if you stop somebody with meth well they've got meth that's easy that's illegal you can't have it where as you stop somebody with a narcotic prescription or a pill or two it isn't necessarily illegal you've got to show that it's not their script.
TO TOP IT ALL OFF - MISSOURI IS THE ONLY STATE THAT DOESN'T HAVE A PRESCRIPTION DRUG MONITORING PROGRAM.
Jackie says that means that people from our surrounding states people as far as florida are coming up to pill farm to go from doctor to doctor, getting legal prescriptions, getting as many pills as they can from pharmacies and then taking them back to their states to sell for profit.

St. Joseph man dies in crash on I-70
A man from St. Joseph was killed when his vehicle flipped over and crashed into a tree while driving on I-70 in Saline County, Missouri.

Missouri v Sandra Hemme
Sandra Lynn Hemme, a 20 y/o mental patient, was arrested in November of 1980 for capital murder in St. Joseph, Missouri. She was held without bond and confessed to a crime, she probably did not commit.
There was no motive and no physical or trace evidence to tie Sandra Hemme to the crime scene at 1501 Riverside Road, Saint Joseph, Missouri. There were no eyewitnesses who saw Hemme kill Jeschke. The only evidence the State had against Hemme was her own guilty plea.
Instead, one of the other suspects was a local police officer. The DNA of a pubic hair found at the crime scene has never been tested and compared to the ex-policeman. Go to to learn more!
Teen dies after fight outside middle school
A 13-year old girl from Attucks Middle School ended up on life support at Texas Children's Hospital two days after a fight off campus.
Kashala Francis' mother, Mamie Jackson, says her daughter told her she was attacked by two girls after school on Thursday, and that another girl later jumped in and kicked her in the head.
Jackson says when her daughter returned home Thursday afternoon, she had a bruise on her face, but insisted she was okay.

Authorities say a teenager who disappeared Sunday after his boat ran into problems on a flooded Missouri creek is presumed dead.

John Charles Frémont or Fremont (January 21, 1813 – July 13, 1890) was an American explorer, politician, and soldier who, in 1856, became the first candidate of the Republican Party for the office of President of the United States. During the 1840s, when he led five expeditions into the American West, that era's penny press and admiring historians accorded Frémont the sobriquet The Pathfinder.During the Mexican–American War, Frémont, a major in the U.S. Army, took control of California from the California Republic in 1846. Frémont was convicted in court-martial for mutiny and insubordination over a conflict of who was the rightful military governor of California. After his sentence was commuted and he was reinstated by President Polk, Frémont resigned from the Army. Frémont led a private fourth expedition, which cost ten lives, seeking a rail route over the mountains around the 38th parallel in the winter of 1849. Afterwards, Frémont settled in California at Monterey while buying cheap land in the Sierra foothills. When gold was found on his Mariposa ranch, Frémont became a wealthy man during the California Gold Rush, but he was soon bogged down with lawsuits over land claims, between the dispossession of various land owners during the Mexican–American War and the explosion of Forty-Niners immigrating during the Rush. These cases were settled by the U.S. Supreme Court allowing Frémont to keep his property. Frémont's fifth and final privately funded expedition, between 1853 and 1854, surveyed a route for a transcontinental railroad. Frémont became one of the first two U.S. senators elected from the new state of California in 1850. Frémont was the first presidential candidate of the new Republican Party, carrying most of the North. He lost the 1856 presidential election to Democrat James Buchanan when Know Nothings split the vote. Democrats warned that his election would lead to civil war.During the American Civil War, he was given command of Department of the West by President Abraham Lincoln. Although Frémont had successes during his brief tenure as Commander of the Western Armies, he ran his department autocratically, and made hasty decisions without consulting Washington D.C. or President Lincoln. After Frémont's emancipation edict that freed slaves in his district, he was relieved of his command by President Lincoln for insubordination. In 1861, Frémont was the first commanding Union general who recognized in Brigadier General Ulysses S. Grant an iron will to fight and promoted him commander at the strategic base near Cairo, Illinois. Defeating the Confederates at Springfield, Frémont was the only Union General in the West to have a Union victory for 1861. After a brief service tenure in the Mountain Department in 1862, Frémont resided in New York, retiring from the Army in 1864. The same year Frémont was a presidential candidate for the Radical Democracy Party, but he resigned before the election. After the Civil War, Frémont's wealth declined after investing heavily and purchasing an unsuccessful Pacific Railroad in 1866, and lost much of his wealth during the Panic of 1873. Frémont served as Governor of Arizona from 1878 to 1881 appointed by President Rutherford B. Hayes. Frémont retired from politics and died destitute in New York City in 1890.
Historians portray Frémont as controversial, impetuous, and contradictory. Some scholars regard him as a military hero of significant accomplishment, while others view him as a failure who repeatedly defeated his own best purposes. The keys to Frémont's character and personality may lie in his being born illegitimately, his ambitious drive for success, self-justification, and passive-aggressive behavior. Frémont's published reports and maps produced from his explorations significantly contributed to massive American emigration overland into the West starting in the 1840s. In June 1846 ...
Otis Series 1 Hydraulic Elevators at RiverPointe Medical Office Building in Elkhart, IN
This building was added on to Elkhart General Hospital in 1997, so these elevators are obviously 1997 Series Ones. These elevators are actually pretty nice, besides a few bumps and rattles, these elevators are some of the better ones in the hospital. My only complaint is with the elevator on the left, in a failed take the door for the phone fell off and it took me forever to get it back on there. Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution
The Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime. It was passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864, by the House on January 31, 1865, and adopted on December 6, 1865. On December 18, 1865, Secretary of State William H. Seward proclaimed its adoption. It was the first of the three Reconstruction Amendments adopted following the American Civil War.
Slavery had been tacitly protected in the original Constitution through clauses such as the Three-Fifths Compromise, by which three-fifths of the slave population was counted for representation in the United States House of Representatives. Though many slaves had been declared free by Lincoln's 1863 Emancipation Proclamation, their post-war status was uncertain. On April 8, 1864, the Senate passed an amendment to abolish slavery. After one unsuccessful vote and extensive legislative maneuvering by the Lincoln administration, the House followed suit on January 31, 1865. The measure was swiftly ratified by nearly all Northern states, along with a sufficient number of border and reconstructed Southern states, to cause it to be adopted before the end of the year.

Lincoln's Ghost Train | Behind the Haunting #007
In this live video we will dive deep into the paranormal claims and reports about the ghostly apparition of the entire train that was used to transport President Abraham Lincoln from Washington D.C. back to Springfield, Ill. a.k.a. Lincolns Ghost Train (1865).
There are varying accounts of spectral funeral train sightings (Lincolns Ghost Train) of the old Union silently traveling through the night. Those who have seen the vision report that they have seen a train car draped in black housing a casket surrounded by mourners guarded by skeletal remains dressed in blue uniforms. The smoke stacks billow and bells clang but not of this time and place. A popular version of this story is one that has been retold many times stemming from a quote in the Albany Evening Times. This version is taken from The Pittsburgh Press (1978).
The train (Lincolns Ghost Train) always appeared in Albany on April 27th, the anniversary of its first passing. Track walkers and section hands would sit along the railroad tracks in the early evening of the fateful day and wait for the ghost train to come into view. At midnight—always at midnight—the engine would emerge from the darkness, moving silently down the track with black crepe flowing from its sides and emitting faintly audible sounds of funeral music.
The phantom train (Lincolns Ghost Train) would glide over a black carpet that appeared to cover the tracks, while spectral solders in blue uniforms, of the Union army trotted along side it. As the apparition moved down the tracks, it would fade from view over some phantom horizon
